TAKE ADVANTAGE OF TECHNOLOGY
New club technology is making the game easier and giving more golfers access to greater moments of joy. But no matter how brilliant the technology is, if it isn’t fitted to your game, you’re not getting everything it has to offer.

CLUB FITTING
ONE FITTING. MANY MOMENTS OF JOY.
From tee to fairway to green, you have many opportunities to experience joy. Whether it’s splitting the fairway with your driver, setting up a birdie putt on a long approach, holing out with your wedge, or sinking a 10-footer. When you’re playing with fitted clubs, you’re going to experience moments like this more often.

LGA NEWS by Molly Maher
May…the month of beautiful azaleas, blooming dogwood trees and warm spring breezes! We love the longer days, especially on Wednesday so the ladies golf group at BridgeMill can have fun with our Nine and Wine. Every Wednesday, we kick off about 5 pm for 9 holes of friendly golf followed by drinks and dinner (for those that want to stay.). Every few weeks, we have a game night which just adds to fun with prizes and a little competition. Sunday March 21st we had our first tournament of the season to celebrate St Pat’s Day. 18 ladies came out dressed in green and ready to have a good time! Tee times started at noon with a little competition using a shamrock ball. Hole 2 we had a closest to the green hat competition which was about 140 yards from the ladies tees. Our par 3 holes also had closest to the pin prizes and we were all treated to some green Bailey’s on hole 6 by Chris Maher. We finished out the day with a great appetizer spread and as much green beer as we could drink. Since it was a beautiful summer like day, we stayed and visited long after the prizes were awarded. First place team was Vanessa Mullen, Amy Boehm and Carla Cummings. Second place team was Stacy Propes, Joyce Gonzenbach and Briana Stopp. Closest to the hat went to Stacy, closest to the pin on #5 was Kelly and on #8 was Vanessa. See photos for a little hint of the fun day we had to celebrate our Irish hero, St. Patrick! We also honored Therese Powers for her Eagle and Carla Cummings for her first Birdie!! Congrats!!! Saturday, April 17th was our Spring Fling tournament. We headed out with a shotgun start at 8am to dance the Cha, Cha, Cha. A fun format using best net score on 1, 2nd best score on 2 etc. Our teams were made up with ABCD players to keep all skill levels even. The fun ramped up on par 3’s when frisbees and softball bats came into play!! We followed our 18 hole event with a delicious lunch at Featherstone’s, a cocktail or two and great prizes. Photos to follow in our June BridgeMill News!

2021 MGA SATURDAY GAME KICK OFF – TWO-MAN BLIND DRAW STABLEFORD
We had a cold start but a solid turnout for the 2021 MGA Saturday Game Kickoff event on April 3, 2021. Thanks to all who participated and congratulations to all the winners below. Welcome back Bob Wilkinson, who was paired up with Bill Persichetti for the 1st place team finish.
Bryan Maphet had the most individual points, lapping the field with his 54 point total. He was paired with Nick Merckling but they limped in with a 3rd place finish. Jack Quigley and Steve Arnold sneaked into 2nd place with Jim Masdea and Lenny Reeves finishing 4th. Mickey Kelly and Mark Lentchner tied for 5th with Jeff Webster and Chris Sharp. Jeff Hanson's 69 ft 1 Inch closeup on #16 did not quite hold up for a skin. But all these players had skins that held: Glorio #3, Quigs #4, Lentchner #5, Arnold #14, Hubbard #15 and Masdea #17.
Saturday, April 10th was the start of our official Stableford quota Game and reboot. This also marks the start of the Gross and Net ringer season long games.

MGA ACES – HOLE-IN-ONE!

The ACE is among the most elusive happenings in golf. This month we celebrate two more of our MGA Members Hole in One.
Todd Marovich – On March 13, 2021 Todd had an ACE on #12 at BMAC with an 8-Iron from 158 yards. Congratulations Todd!
Ed Zamorski - Our 2020 MGA Player of the Ed Zamorski, got his ACE on March 27, 2021 from 170 yards with a 6 Iron on BridgeMill’s signature hole number #16. Rumor has it that Ed even treated his fellow MGA members to a few cocktails. Great JOB Ed!
