May is probably the best month for golf. Golf Members ,If you are looking to get out and play, please remember you have the ability to make tee times 2 weeks in advance. With the beautiful weather, tee times go quickly. Make sure to book your tee time to get out and enjoy this beautiful weather and course. There are many ways to reserve your spot, either call the golf shop (770-345-5500 ext. 1); go online to www.bridgemillathleticclub. com.

The BridgeMill Golf shop has everything you need to get out to the course and start having fun. If there is something we do not have, let us know, and we will be happy to order it for you. Remember, for all your golfing needs, BridgeMill has got you covered.

It’s that time of year again and our BridgeMill Leagues are out playing. Thursday nights is league night, using the full course at 4:30. These leagues are full of BridgeMill members out having a great time playing golf and socializing. Due to Thursday League nights, for the entirety of their season, the last tee time available on these nights will be12:00 pm, with limited 9 hole play between 12-2:30. This allows the golf staff to have the course open for the leagues to shotgun out. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

The Member Guest is just a few days away and we are all very excited. The practice rounds will be held all day on Thursday May 20th, and tournament

The latest and greatest of the new Titleist Prov1 & Prov1x are in the shop. The new Titleist Drivers, new Taylor Made Sim2 Drivers and the new Ping 425 drivers are also in! What better time to upgrade your set, than now with the best technology that these companies have to offer. We have plenty of Demo days set up with each company, so if you are in the market for a new set and want a time to be fit, either contact Georgia Golf Performance for a time or talk to the Golf Shop about when our next Club fitting day will be. Taylor Made Demo Day is May 8th.

Now is the time dust off those old grips and get ready for Spring. Regrip your clubs; get fit for new ones; and consider a new pair of shoes. Be prepared to hit the ground running. Those in the market for new shoes, all the FootJoy, Callaway and Nike shoes are in. We have plenty of golf bags, apparel and hats for every golfer’s needs. The pro shop is fully stocked for what young and old may need to help their games.

Look out for Boat Drinks and Beer May 14th for the next couples/member mixer adventure. This is always a good time for couples to get together and enjoy an evening playing and taste testing our latest drinks. We finish off the evening with a fine meal from Featherstones. IF you have not played couples golf, come and give us a shot and have a great time.
