A. Drop within two club lengths of the last spot that he thinks the ball crossed the hazard. B. Come out to the fairway and drop C. First option is to play from the spot at which your last stroke was made under stroke and distance or the back-on-the-line relief procedure or drop a ball into a relief area measured from where your ball last crossed the edge of red penalty area within two clubs lengths. D. A and C only

Be on the lookout for the Member Guest Sign up emails, as this tournament fills up fast and should be on every golf members list of tournaments to play in. The Tournament schedule is posted on the bulletin board outside the golf shop, there are plenty of events for both men and women and couples to get involved at BridgeMill this coming year. Our Spring Collection of Apparel will be arriving soon in the golf shop from Nike, Footjoy, and Donald Ross. Please make sure to stop by and check it out. It is time to do some spring cleaning of the wardrobes to make room for some nice new Bridgemill Logoed shirts and pullovers. Be sure to check what your golf shop has that needs to be in your closet!

The NEW Titleist Prov1 & Prov1x are in the shop. The new Titleist Drivers, New Taylor Made Sim Drivers should all be arriving in February. What better time to upgrade your set than now with the latest and greatest in technology from these two companies.

They believed they could so they did… that is the mantra of our Ladies Golf Association as they celebrated the ribbon cutting of the newly 20212021 BridgemillBridgemill LGALGA renovated ladies lounge on December 12th. Fresh paint, new furniture, built in cubbies and sparkling clean lockers all make for a relaxing place for us to gather and enjoy each others company after a round of golf. Vanessa had the vision. Missie and MARCH Denise had the painting skills. Molly and Stacy had the cleaning and sanding capabilities. Kelly and Hank had the building skills to create the window covering as well as furniture delivery. With the financial support of the Haslam’s, we are all proud to have been part of this project. TIPS FROM THE PROS

Know Your Game - A more considered approach

A perfect strike doesn’t guarantee a good shot. A good shot is one that lands where you expected it to. And to do that, there are three things you need to consider.

Wind: What direction is it coming from? How strong is it? Lie: Could you be lying in a flyer? Is there any slope? Elevation: Is your target level with, above or below you?

Combine this with your knowledge of how far you usually hit every club, and you arrive at the truth about which club you need to take on your approach.

Many golfers base their carry distances on a perfect strike, rather than how they USUALLY strike the ball. And because of that, they often take too little club. Knowing how far you hit every club is going to save you shots, and shocks. If you’re unsure about your true carry distances, then when we next see you, let’s talk about it.

GGP PATHWAY TO PERFORMANCE JUNIOR PROGRAM

At Georgia Golf Performance our goal is to instill a love of the game of golf in your child by creating a fun, safe, and interactive learning environment. Our Spring program concentrates on correct golf fundamentals and experiential learning through drills, golf games, on-course sessions and athletic development training.
