This my friends will choke up even a robot when you hear these brave and distinguished acts of courage, and determined efforts to survive and serve no matter the high cost that they endure. American Airlines Sky Ball XV, in support of the Airpower Foundation, once again broke a new record in fundraising, with over $3.2 million raised to support our nation’s military, veterans, wounded, and the children of our fallen military heroes. Sky Ball XV Saluted the American Veteran on Veteran’s Day, while incorporating a very valuable educational component teaching students the values of honor, commitment, sacrifice, patriotism, and courage. Sky Ball is the largest and most impactful military support event in the nation, held inside an American Airlines Hangar at DFW International Airport. Sky Ball Executive Chef Robert Irvine, along with his volunteer chefs from all branches of the military, who prepare all the meals for Sky Ball weekend. Over 10,000 meals in total are created and overseen by Chef Irvine for all the events over the weekend.
