You get to see Col. Gary Lindfoot, a paralyzed warrior, walk the stage at the very event that paid for his high tech Exo skeleton IBOT. This technology is what made it possible for him to walk upright for the first time in
years. Vietnam vet Dave Roever telling his story of 35 operations over 30 years since Vietnam with his joyful tone of voice because he just got a new nose transplant and survived 75 % of his body being burnt. This my friends will choke up even a robot when you hear these brave and distinguished acts of courage, and determined efforts to survive and serve no matter the high cost that they endure. American Airlines Sky Ball XV, in support of the Airpower Foundation, once again broke a new record in fundraising, with over $3.2 million raised to support our nation’s military, veterans, wounded, and the children of our fallen military heroes. Sky Ball XV Saluted the American Veteran on Veteran’s Day, while incorporating a very valuable educational component teaching students the values of honor, commitment, sacrifice, patriotism, and courage.
