HAYES REVIEW Autumn 2019 No 239 river Thames with a full crew on the station 24 hours, 365 days a year. 303 lives have been saved since the Lifeboat Station opened in 2002. Your local fundraising branch makes collections in many places in the area including supermarkets and garden centres, organises events such as the successful Rock Choir Concert in 2018 and we would like to do much more. We do need more volunteers to help us maintain our fundraising now and in the future. Lifeboat Day is an annual event and we collect all over the Branch area and we really need your help with a bucket collection on that day or at one of our events. You can volunteer for as much time that you can give – a couple of hours for a collection each year or on call to help with one of our events or both.
