BRAND STORY
Il Napoletano, meaning “the Neapolitan”, is a fictious Italian restaurant/bar in Vancouver that brings clean, modern, and minimalistic aesthetics with an authentic taste of dishes from Naples, Italy.
Al Marchisio, the founder of the brand, first started his journey in Naples, Italy, and moved to Canada with his family after 10 years of culinary experience in Italy.
After trying many Italian restaurants around Canada, Al always wanted to satisfy people by sharing his skills and sincerity in food. Finally, forming a crew of 12 members, he decided to launch the restaurant in 2023.

02 Tone of Voice
TONE OF VOICE

-Welcoming
-Friendly
Il Napoletano will be the place where anyone will be welcomed with friendly manner. Though, it will also be the place where everyone will be respectful. All customers will be treated with sincerity whether it is on food or service.

03 Logo
LOGO
The logo simply symbolizes the initials of Il Napoletano (I & N & O) with selected colours intending to bring out the minimalism. Each line is separated in order to give more space and visual pleasement.

APPROPRIATE USE
1. The background preferred to be remained as it is, though it could change depending on situations.
2. Logo can be used without the brand name or colour varying on situations.




3. When sizing up the logo, add x2 pt of stroke to keep the same weight with the typeface.
4. When changing the background to black, change the text and/or rim to beige, or white, something that can give good contrast.
COMMON ERRORS
1. Do not outline the logo texts.
2. Do not squish or stretch the logo.
3. Do not rotate the logo.



4. Do not export the logo with lower resolution.

04 Brand Colours
BRAND COLOURS
There are five colours being used to this brand:
-Khaki -Feldgrau -Garnet
These muted colours would convey more of minimalistic aesthetic, yet representing the colours of Italy.
-Jet -Snow
These are the colours that will complement the primary colours and will be occasionally used when appropriate.

05 Typography
TYPOGRAPHY
Two different fonts were used for the brand:
-Geometos Neue Bold
-Meno Banner Semi Bold
Geometos Neue was mainly used for emphasization such as titles or call-to-actions. Meno Banner brings more elegance and classic vibe, as well as having more weight variations and it was used for logo title and/or description.

WEB IMPLEMENTATIONS WEBSITE/LANDING PAGE

Website are great for delivering customer needs and reaching wider range of customers around the world.
Using the 1920 x 1080 desktop size, the horizontal logo was placed on the top left in the navigation menu. It also includes nav links, main image, and call to action button.
PRINT IMPLEMENTATIONS
Stickers/Window sign
Creating signs is one of the initial ways to help the business grow.
For window sign, vertical logo was used. It brings out clean, minimal, and modern mood that can be easily applied anywhere.

Stickers will be used for sealing up the to-go boxes. They will be icon logos with different colour combinations within the palette.

PRINT IMPLEMENTATIONS Canvas/Business Card


Creating a Menu is one of the most important parts when branding a restaurant. Bringing the simple & minimal style menu will help customers readability.
The canvas mockup was included to illustrate how it will look when the logo is laid out to canvas menu. Business card is also a great tool to widen the business. The backside includes the vertical logo only, and on the frontside, it includes owner’s information on the lefthand side, and icon logo at the top to evoke cleanliness and elegance of the brand.

08 Digital MARKETING CAMPAIGN Ads & Landing Page
Digital Marketing Campaign
Canada Day is on July 1st and it is one of the biggest national holidays in Canada. Since it is 07/01 in date, 71% discount to all the menu will be applied from a week of 06/24 to 07/01. This will be a campaign to promote the restaurant and Canada Day.
Week 1(06/09): Initial post about Canada Day and discount promotion, Coming soon will be posted on social media platforms(Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok)
Week 2(06/16): Live Landing Page will be published online
Week 3(06/23): First Day to book for tables, Canada Day Reservation available post will be posted in all social media platforms
Week 4(06/30): Last day to make reservations for Canada Day Discount


Landing Page
This is the Il Napoletano’s landing page based on digital marketing campaign plan. The event is about 71% discount for Canada Day and the main goal was to attract users by providing big discount for the holiday week.
The page includes mature feel of brand images, as well as the content of the digital marketing promotion.
