PUBLIC PROJECTS Trade and Industry Tower Renewable Energy • The photovoltaic (PV) system comprises 189

opaque PV panels on the rooftop, as well as 48 see-through thin-film PV (TFPV) panels on the main entrance canopy and 96 TFPV panels on the 1/F elevated walkway.

• The solar hot water supply system is

equipped with evacuated tube solar collectors, which serve to pre-heat incoming water for the shower room.

• Twenty-seven fixed light pipes, three

anidolic sun pipes and six sun-tracking optic fibre sun pipes have been installed to reduce the artificial lighting energy consumption.

• Task lighting has been adopted in office

areas to further reduce the energy consumption of background lighting.
