Higher Diploma in Architectural Design This programme lays a foundation of both design philosophy and technical knowledge for students who intend to pursue a profession in architecture. It aims to cultivate a holistic approach to design education that encompasses both conceptual and professional studies to strengthen graduates’ ability to make independent decisions. BA (Hons) Architecture Design is at the heart of the BA (Hons) Architecture degree. The designers have been working in design studios to create imaginative and practical building designs. History, theory, construction and environment studios are largely integrated with design projects in the studio. The studio is a co-operative and productive environment for sharing ideas, techniques and experience which supports students in discovering their own approach to design.
