關於賽馬會藝壇新勢力 About JCNAP
由香 港 藝 術 發展 局主 辦，香 港 賽 馬會慈 善 信 託 基金捐 助 的「 賽 馬會 藝 壇 新 勢力」，自2017年起開始舉辦，計劃齊集在國際發光發熱的本地藝術家，為社 會各界帶來 創意、水準與本土色 彩兼並的藝 術體 驗。過去四屆「賽馬會藝壇 新勢力」共有43個藝術單位參與，製作超過90場不同類型演出及多個重點展 覽，並策劃超過550場社區及校園活動，總參與人次高達46萬。
「賽 馬會藝 壇 新 勢力 2021 / 2022 」於2021年9月開展，呈獻共6個精選節目， 涵蓋舞 蹈、戲劇以 及音樂，並 於不同場域 策 動超 過100個社區 及學 校活動， 誠邀本地觀眾參與其中，盡情體驗藝術的盎然妙趣。 JOCKEY CLUB New Arts Power, launched in 2017, is an annual Arts Festival presented by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council with the funding support from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. The Festival brings together established and emerging local artists to produce creative, approachable and engaging arts experiences for all. In the past four editions, 43 arts groups participated in the Festival. Together they produced 90 live performances and a remarkable number of major exhibitions. Uniting art groups and various organisations from the social welfare, academic and commercial sectors, the festival held over 550 community and school events, reaching some 460,000 participants. JOCKEY CLUB New Arts Power 2021 / 2022 has been launched in September 2021, featuring a total of 6 selected programmes that include dance, theatre and music, as well as presenting more than 100 community and school activities.

2010年由黃俊達於法國巴黎成立，現以香港為創作基地。現時劇團有約20位來自不同地方及背景的
創作演員，持續接受劇團的系統訓練，發展 成具身體表演力和創作力的團隊。劇團糅合賈克．樂寇

Founded in 2010 in Paris by Wong Chun Tat (Ata), Théâtre de la Feuille is currently based in Hong Kong. Théâtre de la Feuille is made up of 20 performers from different countries and backgrounds, the artistic approach of the company is to blend elements East-and-West, where the Western pedagogy of Jacques Lecoq interweaves with the traditional arts of the East. DIRECTOR’S NOTE
解 釋，往 往 是 對 一 些事 的 現 象、發 展、狀 態 和 本 質 等 進 行 剖 析，以 說 明 其含 義、因 由 和 根 據。處 境 不 同， 解 釋 的用意 亦 有所 差異。有時 不解 釋，稍 作留白，可能 更 耐人尋 味。空間，會 讓 我 們 思考，因 為 我 們 都渴望 得到答 案，嘗試 填 補那空白的地方，甚至希望了解 答 案背後的整 個邏 輯，得以安心，但奈 何很多事情是沒有 答案的。人總是不停追求安穩，同時又一直期待跳出框框，跳了出去，又想躲回安樂窩裡。 「生存還是毀滅，這是一個值得考慮的問題。」
能 站 在 舞台上 說 想 說 的 詩，做 想 做 的 事，跟 你 們 在 劇 場 相 聚，就 是幸 福，謝 謝 同 行 的 創 作 演 員、設 計 師 和 觀眾。 The act of explaining is an attempt to analyse different phenomena and circumstances, so as to elucidate their meanings and purposes. The motive to explain varies according to its given situation. Perhaps the lack of explanation would make things all the more compelling. The space between the things left unsaid is where we think. We all desire to be given answers so as to fill in those blank spaces, or that we are hoping to understand the logic behind those answers so as to get a peace of mind. Yet, there are many things in the world that are often left unanswered. Often at times, we desire stability, yet at the same time, we are eager to jump out of our comfort zones. Though once we take a leap, we find ourselves wanting to retreat once more. “To be, or not to be, that is the question.” To be able to do as one pleases and to share these words of poetry with you all in the theatre is an absolute blessing. I would like to thank my actors, designers, and audience.

MUSIC DIRECTOR’S NOTE
詩與音樂的相生，本來就 是 所有時代音樂創作 者的永恆課題。今次 慶幸 獲 綠葉劇團邀請，加入《 #1314》這 趟 由莎翁十四行詩出發的浩瀚旅程，得以竅探到一些在詩與音樂之間，我以前從未想像過的一些創作可能。
往常以作曲家身份參與創作，往往一 個人主宰了一部作品裡音樂上所有細節。今次為《 #1314》演出擔任音樂 總監，跳出了自己熟 悉的「一人話事」角色，變 成走 進他人的音樂世界，將一眾創作演員親自創作的旋律交織 匯合。
《 #1314》中每段旋律，都是台上每個獨特的靈魂與莎翁的文字相遇而生的對話，是每位創作演員通過自己對 詩作的感悟，以歌聲盛載自莎翁十四行詩再創作的詞和曲。我進入其中傾聽，許多次不禁驚嘆，各位音樂背景 殊異的創作演員，雖各自帶着來自其個人足跡的聲音風格，當由一個文本結合起來，是可以如此互相補足而有 箇中默契。 美國詩人 Robert Frost 曾說：「詩意往往在翻譯過程中失掉（ Poetry is what gets lost in translation）。」詩的 純 粹，有時 確會 讓 人 感到不可觸碰。在《 #1314》這部作品，我們以不同語言呈現莎翁的十四行詩，更 將詩化 成詞，由演員唱出，最後飄散在舞台上的肢體與空氣之間。詩的本質如果真會 get lost，經過了我們如此在語言、 文 體、以 至 媒 介 的多次轉 生，想當 然一層層地 剝 落了許 多。但 抽 絲 剝 繭，最 後留下 來，而 再 孕育出的，又 是 甚麼？一個不朽的文本，又可以綻放出多少種不同生命？希望《 #1314》這部作品，能讓大家都有所發現。 The coexistence of poetry and music is an eternal subject for music creators of all ages. This time I am fortunate enough to be, invited by Théâtre de la Feuille to come along on this journey of #1314 and explore the Shakespeare‘s Sonnet together. Through such experience, I have discovered creative possibilities between poetry and music that I have never imagined before. I usually participate in creative processes as a composer - processes that typically involve one single person dominating all decision-making of a work's musical details. This time, as music director of #1314, not only have I jumped out of my usual independent, solitary role, I found myself exploring deep inside the musical world of others, weaving together intertwining melodies created by a group of creative actors. Each melody in #1314 is a dialogue between each soul on stage and the words of Shakespeare. The music is a result of each creative actor's unique understanding of Shakespeare's Sonnets. Many times have I entered this musical space and listened, and could not help but wonder how with the use of text and different vocal qualities, each creative actor's vastly different musical background could complement one another so well. Indeed, “poetry is what gets lost in translation”. The purity of poetry can sometimes seem unattainable. In #1314, not only are we presenting Shakespeare's Sonnets in different languages, we are also transforming these poems into words sung by actors. Perhaps the essence of poetry does get lost through the many layers of language, style, and use of media. Yet with an inherently inexhaustible text, what comes out of the cocoon are the many possibilities and different lives that can continue to grow and transform. I hope that #1314 can be a journey of discovery for everyone.

He is an independent creative practitioner and served on the editorial board of Voice and Verse Poetry Magazine. His creative works include lyrics, contemporary poetry, scripts, novels, prose, essays, etc. His works are featured by Ming Pao, Voice and Verse Poetry Magazine, Form, “as artistic as you”, etc. He was awarded “Best Lyrics” at Make Music Work, first place in Chinese Playwriting Competition at HKBU, Global Youth Chinese Literary Award, Chinese Literature Award at the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Flash Fiction Competition. 現為演 戲家 族 創作 總 監、樂 隊 「朱 凌 凌 」成 員，一直 以 來 曾 與多個劇團及單位合作。 2019年畢業於香港演藝學院戲 劇藝 術碩士（導演）課程，曾為 香港小交響樂團駐團藝 術家及 中英 劇團全職 演 員。2014 年 獲 第 二十三 屆 香 港 舞 台劇 獎「最 佳男主角（喜劇/鬧劇）」。 2 0 21 年 創 作 及 演 出 首 個 獨 腳 Cabaret Talk 演出《筋肉變態》 來紀念自己的中年危機。
Currently the Leader of the Creative and Production team leader at Actors’ Family, a member of independent band Juicyning, Chu Pak Him actively collaborates with different theatre companies. In 2019, Chu graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a Master’s Degree of Fine Arts in Drama (Directing). He had served as Hong Kong Sinfonietta’s Artist Associate and Chung Ying Theatre Company’s full-time actor. He won the Best Actor (comedy) at the 23rd Hong Kong Drama Awards. In 2021, he created his first cabaret show The Transforman.
韓 梅 Han Mei
生 於 陝 北黃 土高坡。先 後獲 得 城市當代舞蹈團和城市當代舞 蹈團舞蹈中心獎學金赴香港演 藝學院進修現代舞。
2010 年 獲 香 港 舞 蹈 聯 盟 頒 發 香港舞 蹈年獎最佳女舞 蹈員； 2 018 年 於 十八 區 超 新 聲 歌 唱 比賽贏得亞軍。

Han Mei is born and brought up in Northern Shanxi, China. She received a scholarship from City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC) and CCDC Dance Centre to study contemporary dance at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. In 2010, she won the Best Actress at the Hong Kong Dance Alliance Dance Awards. She was also the first runner-up at the 18-District Singing Contest in 2018. Recent performances include: WKCD Freespace Happening’s In One Stroke x Han Mei Concert; Kassandra, Ballads of Expulsion and The Lost Adults.

Kung Chi Yip graduated from the School of Journalism and Communication, the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2019, and was awarded The CUHK Outstanding Students Award. In the same year, he has completed a Two-Year Professional Physical Theatre Youth Training. He is now working as a freelance actor, working for TV, movie, short films, music video and commercial projects. Previous performances include My World, Freerider and Detention by Tang Shu-wing Theatre Studio.
Melo Man is now a three-year drama student at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA). Man recently appeared in Matteo Ricci (premiere), HKAPA’s Ng Wong the Swordsman, and The Absolutely Fabulous Theatre Connection’s The Revenge of Orphan Zhao.
