Stephenson’s Rocket Locomotive

Currently on display at the Science Museum in London, England, Robert Stephenson’s Rocket locomotive – an early steam locomotive with a 0-2-2 wheel arrangement – was created for, and won, the Rainhill Trials for “best design to power the railway” in 1829.
