any times we experience hardship in life inflicted to destroy our confession of faith. When you have deep knowledge of the Lord and have an encounter with him, you will stand firm, putting on the whole armor of God. In any circumstances you may find yourself, the word of God will prove itself out and you will be victorious. Having faith in the Lord and stepping out into that which He has called you to do is a whole new dimension of belief that will be tested in the course of your life. Your faith in His word which is sharper than any two edged sword will be tested. As you mature in the Lord daily and overcome, you will now step out in faith. God never forget our needs for he will not give to the sparrow all it needs for life and leave man that he has created after his own image in the loop. When he ask you to step out in faith he has already equipped you . He asks us to do so many things that seem ―unnatural‖ and we struggle to obey him due to our spiritual maturity. The power of His love and Spirit which indwells us changes our hearts. His words which is a lamp to our feet identifies our path. Giving all to Jesus, he will then rule our lives. Sometimes we are embarrassed and scared about our beliefs and do not want to be stereo-typed as fanatics, but remember God is Love. ielding to Him may seem difficult at first but when you now submit to his will as our Lord Jesus Christ did, you will find the peace that he promised. His peace surpass all understanding which will give you the ability to walk with him. His presence will help you through the exciting moment in life as we often wonder if our faith can stand the test. We ask ourselves if we can hold on any longer to see the work of God in our lives and the lives of others, or give in to worldliness. While struggling with him, we miss the whole point. God is always showing his salvation to us as he has promised. Dependence on ourselves will get us no where for we are not faithful enough. He helps those who cannot help themselves, leaning on him when we are at our weakest brings us safely through those periods of test. So whether we are stepping out in faith or struggling through the valley, our faith must not and does not change. We put our trust in him for he is still the One who made both the mountains and the valley. He will faithfully see us through. So why don‘t we step out in faith together to go to high places. Remember, the God of the valley is still the God of the Mountain; and the God of the day is still the God of the night; he is the God of good times and the God of bad times. HE IS GOD. “In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him” Ecclesiastes 7:14 JESUS IS LORD

heep amongst the wolves is the title of our message for this week. Matthew 10: 16 says, ―Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.‖ ln this passage, Jesus is warning us about the danger surrounding us in the world. The wolf is a very dangerous animal. Physically, if a contest were declared between the sheep and the wolf, the sheep would stand no chance at all because the wolf is stronger than it. The wolf would destroy the sheep utterly. The environment in which we find ourselves is a very hostile one. The Bible does not use kind words to describe it. The Bible talks about the environment being filled with serpents, scorpions, lions, foxes and all kinds of terrible creatures. And in the passage we read, the Bible is talking about wolves.

Truly, the wolf can destroy the sheep but there is something that can enter the sheep and give it the ability to confront and defeat the wolf. That thing is the Spirit of the living God. The Holy Spirit can enter the sheep because of certain qualities that can be found in the sheep. Readers of the Bible recognize that Samson was a man that did exploits. There was a time he met a lion on the way and the lion did not know that Samson was not just an ordinary human being it could devour. It smiled at Samson and wanted to pounce on him but then something was in the life of Samson, which the lion did not know about.

he number twelve is a unique figure and have a spiritual connotation. When you look at the Bible from the beginning o f time, God has been pointing our attention to the number twelve. He knew at the latter days, during the time of Jesus Christ, the number will come up again. Twelve as a number represents God‘s Church. There is a reference to number 12 in the book of Revelation 12:1, ―....a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve‖. There were twelve tribes of Israel, twelve Judges and twelve apostles. in the book of Mark a twelve year old girl was raised from the dead right after the a woman with the issue of blood for twelve years was healed. In the new heaven and earth, the wall had twelve gates, at the gates; twelve angels and twelve foundations garnished with twelve precious stones. The focus of this writing is about the twelve tribes and the future blessings and trouble in the last days as portrayed by Jacob their Father. Each issue will take each tribe starting from Reuben the first born till Benjamin the last son of Jacob. To be an Israelite by blood, you must be a descendant of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We are going to discuss how the blood is still activated in this our generation by the twelve tribes.

Sheep among the Wolves The Spirit of the Lord was mightily upon Samson. Judges 14: 5 – 6: ―Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother to Timnath: and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and behold, a young lion roared against him. And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done.‖ The Spirit of the Lord came upon Samson. When the Spirit of the Lord comes upon men, new things begin to happen. When it comes upon you, new ideas would begin to come up in your mind, a new power would enter into your spirit, you would begin to resist the devil and he would certainly flee from you. Perhaps as you are reading this message, you are the timid and fearful type. hen that Spirit comes upon you, it will make you to become bold. Samson did not flee from the lion, instead he pounced on it. Meaning that he did to the lion what the lion planned to do to him. The Spirit of God has always been doing wonders in people‘s lives and I am sure He would do wonders in yours too, in the name of Jesus. Every serious man of God in the Bible passed through this kind of experience that we are talking about. The seventy elders had a difficult task to do. Ordinarily, they would not have been able to cope, but God had to do something to them before pushing them into the midst of wolves. We too need this Spirit to give us wisdom. We need Him to disgrace all the lions harassing us. Gideon, too, was a man that was called by God for a task he could not cope Cont‘d on page 7

aptism of the Holy Spirit in the right sense of it, is an experience that revolutionizes people‘s lives. Many years ago, I was passing by a university campus around I.00 a.m. and I saw three girls wearing tight trousers standing in front of the place. As I was wondering what they were doing there, they waved me down, so, I stopped and I asked what they were doing there. They said they were looking for transport to take them home. So, I offered to help them. As I was driving, I asked them again what they were doing there at that hour and they said they were coming from a party that had just ended. I went on further to tell them that it was dangerous for them to be there at that time and they said, ―Sir, Jesus will protect us.‖ When I heard that, I asked, ―Are you people born again.‖ They said, ―Yes.‖ So, I asked again, ―If you are born again, then, what are you doing in a night party and dressed the way you are?‖ They said, ―We are not only born again but also filled with the Holy Spirit.‖ I said, ―Supposing Jesus comes and meets you in that party dancing with unbelievers, what do you think would happen?‖

One of them said, ―No. He cannot come now because I am not yet married and I have not done anything. He would have to wait for me to finish everything then He can come.‖ It is really a pity. A lot of people who claim to have the baptism of the Holy Spirit are not serious yet. If you received the genuine baptism of the Holy Spirit, it would revolutionize your life. It would turn your life upside down for good. It would reverse your situation. For us to disgrace the present day wolves, we need the power of the Holy Spirit. One man of God said that the sign of Christianity is not a cross but a tongue of fire. When the fire comes upon your life things begin to happen. The greatest reason we need fresh fire from above is for us to be a great burnt offering for God. Once you become that kind of burnt offering, the first thing that would disappear from your life is the fear of death. And immediately the devil sees that you are no longer afraid of death, he would flee from you because there is no other greater thing with which he can threaten you. Supposing the Holy Spirit wakes you up at 2. 00 a.m. and says, ―Son or daughter, today I have a message for you to deliver at the front gate of Atan Cemetery.‖ What would you do? Somebody who is on fire for God will not think of the

danger but would go there. That is what we mean by being a great burnt offering for the Lord. eople who have got to that level are above fear. When such people are threatened with charms, they ask the person issuing the threat to bring his most powerful one. When we become a great burnt offering for God, it is then we can disgrace the wolves and when God is looking for someone to rely upon, He can depend on us. The question now is, ―Do you have that fire of God burning in you?‖ The Bible says that our God is a consuming fire and when that fire comes on you, you will have liberty in the spirit. When some people speak in tongues, it would appear as if somebody was squeezing their throat and quenching the power. I pray that we may have the fire that John spoke about. Then, the devil, sin, sicknesses cannot live in our lives because it would be too hot. This is why we need the fresh fire of the Holy Spirit.

VICTORY OVER BARENNESS Married for over 10 years without the fruit of the womb is a test of faith period for any couple. This was the situation as a couple. With no one else to turn to but the Almighty God, the one who says there will be none that will be barren in his house. He not only answered our prayers but gave us double joy. Jayden and Jeanee celebrated their 1st birthday recently. We want to testify to the goodness of the Lord for our testimonies are His delight. Praise the Lord. Mr And Mrs Omotayo

ecently MFM Ministries celebrated 20th anniversary in November 2009. The kind of spiritual warfare prayers the ministries started met with so much criticism. Why? Because it was first of its kind in our generation. The rate of growth Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries experienced over the years is phenomenal. Having started in a not so large room with 25 other fervent interdenominational Christians, in 1989, they relocated to a place at 60 Old Yaba Road, Lagos Nigeria (in picture on the left). The prevailing prayers of these Christians brought down the power of God with signs and wonders evidenced in the lives of many. Many claimed spirits do not die and asked questions about the ―strange‖ style of praying. When the Lord opened their spiritual understanding the y ended up joining the church Dr D.K. Olukoya & Pastor (Mrs) Shade Olukoya as Pastors or members; The General Overseer of MFM Ministries and wife when they realized the enemy has truly changed the kind of weapons used in spiritual warfare. Today, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries have spread all over the world with the establishment of 25 other ministry groups. he Ministry is known for it‘s monthly program called, ―Power Must Change Hands‖ where children of God from diverse areas come together to pray until something happens in their lives. Power will change hands into the hands of the Holy Spirit in observance of this day. With the establishment of ―The Prayer City‖ in fulfillment of prophesy, which was conceived as a prayer retreat ground, the ministries held it‘s first service there in July 1995. There is also a yearly ―70 days Prayer and Fasting Program‖ with a daily 21 prayer points where all members and other participants intercede for the Christians, Churches, Missionary activities, Nations, Christian homes, Pastors, Evangelists, workers and so on.

Dr D.K.Olukoya and Pastor (Mrs) Shade Olukoya

MFM Ministries also started the method of PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS (PUSH) which other ministries have adopted to the glory of the Lord Almighty. MFM Ministries is a do-it-yourself ministry where your hands are taught to war and fingers to battle. The ministry is also the largest in Africa with over 200,000 members in a single meeting. It is good to have a pioneering spirit. When you start something good, others are bound to follow your footsteps. PRAISE THE LORD

Revelation he Water of life column is revealed through the verse in Revelation 22:17 “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come, And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely” Herein lies your choice to come unto the Lord through the power of the Holy Spirit. The invitation to come is given to whosoever accept and salvation after hearing through the water of life is offered. And He said, “My presence shall go with thee, and I will give you rest” Exodus 33:14 “Cast me not away from your presence and take not your Holy Spirit from me” Psalms 51:11 “He who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” Psalms 91:1

Remember Jesus told the woman of Samaria that whosoever drinks of the water he offers will never thirst again, “....but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life”. My prayer is that through the series of the word from the Lord that will flow into this column you will be truly blessed and receive the salvation for God has not appointed us to wrath but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. n this column, ―The Water of Life‖, we are taking these three verses today, you realize that when you decide to go anywhere and His presence is not with you, you will not be comfortable. To succeed in

the journey of life you need the presence of the Lord. When God called Moses, He manifested his presence for the special task at a specific time. He was to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt. He manifested as pillar of cloud ad Moses knew he could not do anything or go anywhere without God hence he insisted that the Lord show him the way. You know the Lord has entrusted Moses the task of conveying his laws to the ―stiff necked people‖. At this time they had modeled a calf while Moses was with the Lord taking instructions regarding the laws of the Lord. God told him to go down and see what the people have done. Dwelling in the secret place of the Most High is being in His presence. View page 13

with until the same Spirit came upon him. The same thing happened to king David, Simon in the New Testament, and to all the apostles. The Spirit of the living God came upon them and that made all the difference. The whole of the Bible can be divided into three clear sections: Section 1. The time of Tabernacles and temples: The people of Israel built tabernacles in the wilderness. Anytime they were moving, they carried their tabernacle. When they finished with tabernacles, they started building temples. That time God was in a place and not in their lives. This is the reason the devil was able to mess people up thoroughly in the Old Testament. God was inside the tabernacles and inside the temples but was not inside their lives. The high priest used to go to the Holy of holies once a year and he did that with very great precautions because anything could happen to him there. That is what we see in the Old Testament.

Section 2. The time of Jesus Christ: Jesus came, and men looked

euben, means ―see a Son‖. He was the first son of Jacob and Leah and the patriarch of the tribe of Reuben. His birth was recorded in; Genesis 29:32 And Leah conceived and bare a son, and she called his name Reuben: for she said, Surely the Lord hath looked upon my affliction; now therefore my husband will love me. As we read about this man progressively, you will see that he committed an abominable blunder that made him to loose the privileges that traditionally belongs to the firstborn sons because he had an affair with Bilhah, who was his father‘s concubine. Genesis 35:22 And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with his father’s concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve. Jacob heard about this but did not do anything to Reuben because not after this incident, Isaac died. Esau and Jacob had to bury their father so he must have been busy but not completely ignorant of what his son had done to him. He knew it was a great abomination which was later spelt out to the children of Israel in Leviticus 18:8 “The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father’s nakedness”. However he did some good things during the time Joseph was to be killed by his other brothers. Genesis 37:21-22. Later he also offered his sons as surety for Benjamin‘s safety in Genesis 42: 37 Another horrible blunder committed by his descendant which can be seen as a generational curse in operation. His descendant took part in a revolt against Moses recorded in Numbers 16:1-3. We all know about the Korah, Datham and Abiram revolted against

Moses. The loss of lives from that rebellion will probably explain the reduction in the population of the tribe of Reuben. The tribe of Reuben were the second to break camp. In Numbers 2:10-11 they were 46,500. But after the rebellion they dropped to 43,700 during the time the census were taken the first time in Numbers 1:21 and the second time Numbers 26:7 Jacob pronounced future trouble for him in ―the last days‖. Genesis 49:3-4 “Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the Excellency of dignity, and the Excellency of power. Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defilest thou it: he went up to my couch” He should have even being blessed first but Joseph‘s sons received blessings first making Joseph to have a double portion. His father did not say anything to him about his committing incest with Bilhah but it can be noted that he fell out of his father‘s favor. The tribe of Reuben were the first to fall in the battle in Assyria and were carried off to captivity. 1 Chronicles 5:26. The children of Israel transgressed against God and God stirred up the spirit of Pul, king of Assyria to carry them into captivity. He also got blessing from Moses in Deuteronomy 33: 6, “Let Reuben live, and not die, and let not his men be few”. This is a restoration prayer as well as blessing because we now see that towards the end in Revelation 7:7, the tribe of Reuben is listed among those who are promised the Seal of God for 12,000 of their members. Moses utterance restored all the loss and remember as a direct descendant of Jacob by blood the covenant of the Lord must hold fast. JESUS IS LORD.

ne powerful characteristics of the presence of the Lord is that He indwells in us. It is a mystery that cannot be com-prehended. Your socket of power is the indwelling power of God. It is the spirit of obedience in you that will ignite the absolute power of God in you to connect you to the socket of power in you which will then be made manifest as you walk in obedience to his words. When you worship him, he is there as Jehovah Shammah (Psalms 23:4) When you are at the battle field, he is your banner as Jehovah Nissi (Psalms 23:5) When you need to be led, he is Jehovah Rohi, the Lord your Shepherd (Psalms 23:1) When you are lacking some necessities, he will appear as Jehovah Jireh, (Psalms 23:1) When you are need peace, he is Jehovah Shalom, the Lord my peace (Psalms 23:2) When you seek his righteousness, he appears as Jehohah Tsidkenu and he will lead you in the path of righteousness for his name sake (Psalms 23:3) When you need anointing, he anoints your head with oil as Jehovah M‘Kaddesh (Psalms 23:5) When you are sick he will become the Healer, Jehovah Rophi (Psalms 23:3) The presence of the Lord is the most vital of all places to dwell. When you are down and out thinking you are all alone, his presence is with you. When you have become like Elijah believing to be the only one, know that he is all knowing, all seeing, all hearing, His presence is with you. Seeking the presence of the Lord is the easiest way to find peace in this world. When His presence is manifest in your life, you will feel his power and your life can never be the same again. hen He becomes the number one in your life then you make room for him to come in and take absolute control. If you decide not to give him all, He will stay where you put him. He does not gate crash. He will not force you. You must be willing to leave all for him and take up your cross. Jesus said no man having put his hand on the plough, and looking back is not fit for the kingdom of God – Luke 9:62 From the beginning of the Bible to the end, we see classical examples of people who experienced the presence of the Lord. dam and Eve – they actually are the symbols and representatives of the beginning of humanity. When God created them, there was a mission to be accomplished and a purpose. When you look at all of God‘s creation at the time, they were the only creatures with true intelligence. God planted a garden eastward in Eden and put Adam there to enjoy all his other creation. The true intelligence of this action is to direct man to the truth. The absolute truth which is the Almighty God. It was recorded that He would come into the garden to fellowship with them. They were both naked and

were not ashamed because the presence of the Lord was with them and covered them. There is a prophetic covering upon your life when the presence of the Lord is with you. His presence is His glory which was lost in the lives of Adam and Eve. They were to specifically discover and serve God but were not faithful to the mission. Now you realize how important his presence is to our daily living. braham – The Lord sought him out from an idolatrous family and made a covenant with him, he never doubted the Lord. He gave all he has unto him and waited patiently for the manifestation of the promise. Why would he be so sure of what the Lord has promised? Why would someone be waiting for entirely five years for something he can get somewhere else? Abraham was so sure of the Lord because he had been in His presence and the Presence of the Lord abides in him. He clung to the promise with everything in him for the promise though may tarry will surely come to pass. He knew when the Lord makes a covenant with you, it will surely come to pass. He was steadfast in trusting the Lord. I can imagine how even his servants in those days will be looking at him probably mocking him that old age must have gotten the best of him. The presence of God was with him till the very end of his life. Cont‘d on page 14

ACOB - He experienced the manifestation of the Lord in a unique way and got a more extensive array of promises than his father Isaac. The promises are more detailed than even what Abraham received. God made these promises to fulfill his prophecies with Abraham. When he had an encounter with him, he could not help but desire to know him more. Jacob was exposed to God‘s Holiness. God showed him his salvation that day and his life was never the same again. The presence of the Lord overshadowed him and he was able to recognized that fact by accepting a new name Genesis 28:16 ...Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not.

lnness always God desires for us to seek him and when we do, we will find him. In general, when the Tabernacle was constructed as commanded by the Lord they made a plate of the holy crown of pure gold and wrote upon it HOLINESS TO THE LORD. This is the Holy of Holies where to enter it you must be pure and holy. Also in Isaiah 35:8, ―and an highway shall be there, and away, and it shall be called The way of holiness, the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those; the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.‖ Here the ―wayfaring man‖ are the ones that have been anointed by the Lord.

Those that have the mark of the Lamb of God upon them. When the mark is upon you, then you can enter the Holy of Holies, you are with spot and blemish because of the YOU HAVE Blood. Our God is holy, He is glorious in holiness, He is to be exTHINGS BUT alted.

―Told you‖ Sandra retorted and turned her head towards the window at the sound of the car horn. ―o....ka....y‖ Hope said sheepishly ―That must be my mum,‖ said Sandra, ―oh just tell your mom you were cleaning the living room and sweep the shattered pieces in the closet, okay‖ Later Hope‘s Mother came with a blue Jeep. Hope ran up the stairs to her sister‘s room. ―Rae, you‘ve got to help me, Mom‘s home‖, Hope cried

Did Hope do the right thing?

Why do you think Hope refused to tell lies as advised by her friend? Maybe her sense of doing the right thing made her to tell the truth. Do you know? Send your answers speaking and standing for what is right always get you out of trouble. You will feel guilty about being disobedient. Your conscience will always torment you when you lie. The truth will set you free. For now that‘s all.

―So?‖ Rae said as she fed their little baby sister, Sabrina. ―No, you don‘t get it ....huuuh, I BROKE HER LAMP!‖ Hope screamed as she broke down crying. ―Hope, get a grip of yourself, Just go to Mom and tell her the truth‖, Rae advised ―You really think that would work, she would not get mad at me‖ She asked. ―Positive‖ Rae stood up to burp Sabrina ―Ok!‖ Hope ran to her room and knelt down beside her bed to pray for forgiveness ―Hope, Rae, I am home‖, Her mom called out from downstairs

―For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the lord, to do justice and judgment; that the lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him‖ (Genesis 18:19). This was God‘s evaluation of Abraham‘s faith, his integrity, and his faithfulness in instilling truth in the next generation. This ancient Jewish patriarch would teach his children the way of the Lord. What is this way of the Lord?

To Do Justice Justice is just conduct, fair dealing, correctness, well-founded reasoning. In New Testament terms, we call it the Golden Rule. “As ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise” (Luke 6:31). Children by nature are selfish or self-centered. ―Me, my, mine‖ are some of the very first words they learn to say. Children are possessive of their dolls, tractors, animals, and whatever they are playing with. Let another child interfere and the contest begins. Teaching and commanding children to share is a very important requirement. Children have an inborn sense of fairness even if it is biased. They are not very old until you hear the cry, ―That‘s not fair! She took my doll. He took my book. I had it first.‖ This may all be true, so how do we teach justice? We teach justice when we explain to our children that we are not owners but stewards (managers) of what God has given us. The toys that our children claim to be theirs must be understood as gifts they received and thus should be shared for others‘ enjoyment.

children be taught the way of the Lord to do justice. To Do Judgment rowing up with your natural hair is a struggle. Many black women struggle with the type of locks the Lord has given to them. The societal pressure is so much that our women have resulted to ―low cuts‖ to avoid criticism from peers or ―church members‖. Growing up with your natural hair is a struggle. any black women struggle with the type of locks the Lord has given to them. The societal pressure is so much that our women have resulted to ―low cuts‖ to avoid criticism from peers. View page 31

On the other hand, justice requires that we respect the property of others. Children need to be taught to ask permission to share in the use or enjoyment of another‘s possessions. As adults, we grieve for all the crime and injustice we see in our society. God is grieved too. We will soon be where Israel was in the time of the Prophet Hosea. “There is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land” (Hosea 4:1). As parents, let‘s get serious. It is imperative that our cont‘d on page 17

Judgment is coming to right conclusions, making decisions in the light of consequences, discerning between what is right and wrong, what is acceptable and unacceptable to God. Children are born innocent but with depraved natures. Though they are inclined, by nature, to be selfish and self-centered, they can be trained and taught what is acceptable. Godly parents will diligently train their children to use their wills to choose the things that are right and proper. Every parent should be knowledgeable of the commandment, “Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord” (Colossians 3:20). Teach your children this commandment as well. This implies that children are to obey, not because they understand or approve, but because they are asked or commanded to do so. hen a child is taught to consistently submit his will to a higher authority, he becomes the master of his own will. In learning to master his own will, the child learns to do judgment. Instead of the erroneous modern philosophy that says, ―If it feels good do it,‖ the child who is trained to do judgment will consider the consequences. Remember that judgment is coming to right conclusions. The way of the Lord is to hate evil and love righteousness. When God said that Abraham would teach his household to do judgment, we can believe that he taught them that diligence was more profitable than laziness, honesty rather than lying, selfcontrol over anger, kindness Instead of selfishness, and loving and forgiving in place of hate and vengeance. This is what Jesus meant when He said that the wise are those who dig deep and build their houses upon the rock. In contrast, the foolish who build upon sand are deceived by what appears, for the moment, to be

pleasing and gratifying. They are inclined to favor what is visible and temporal rather than the unseen and the real. The influence of what is present outweighs what is future even though what is future has far greater value. Children who are taught to do judgment learn the beauty of virtue, the happiness of self-denial, and the pleasure of duty. They first see the joy this brings as their parents wholeheartedly follow the Lord and love Him with all their heart. They feel the freedom and rest and the peace of obedience, when they follow the commandments of the Lord. Children taught to do justice and judgment will be sensitive to the voice of conscience and their need of a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. As they surrender to Him, they experience victory in keeping the way of the Lord. “Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face. Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance” (Psalm 89:14, 15).

Rules For Raising Children 

Subdue self-will in a child and thus work together with God to save his soul.

Teach him to pray as soon as he can speak.

Give him nothing he cries for and only what is good for him if he asks for it politely.

To prevent lying, punish no fault which is freely confessed, but never allow a rebellious, sinful act to go unnoticed.

Commend and reward good behavior.

Strictly observe all promises you have made to your child.

To understanding the challenges facing small business owners in the vineyard, many factors have to be considered. Many small business are struggling at this time of downturn of the economy. Unlike larger companies, small business have a propensity to manage on a constricted scope of operation. This occurs where cash is less in reserves and many small businesses have few options to reduce cash. Many local businesses have closed down shop due to the cash crunch. You can imagine the dismay of the neighbors at the closing down of a shop that had been in operation for 25 years down the street from their homes all due to cash squeeze and inability to obtain credit from a bank. ver the years many small business owners were caught in a constriction by the sellers requiring more cash for receivable goods. Many customers have postponed purchasing goods and services. There is another viewpoint to this fact. You must examine the foundation of the business facing this kind of challenge. One of the most critical ways to ensure you stay in business is to eliminate unnecessary expenses. You must always pay your tithes. Remember the word of God says, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there many be meat in mine house….” Malachi 3:10.

This leads us to examine some facts about the blessings of the which makes one rich and He adds no sorrow to the blessings (Proverbs 10:22). When the Lord blesses you, he says no room will be enough to receive it. BUT before the blessings come you must fulfill some conditions. YOU MUST BRING THE TITHES TO THE LORD. THE PROMISES OF GOD - Malachi 3:10-12 1. Open the windows of heaven. Your heaven will not be brass as in Deut 28:23 because of you obedience, there will be showers of blessings 2. Pour out a blessing. There is a difference between being a blessing and being blessed. When you are a blessing, there will be an unceaseless flow of blessings from you to those that do business with you. Remember Jacob was a blessings to Laban because the Lord ―poured out a blessings upon Him‖. 3.The blessings will be so much that there will be no room to receive it. 4.The Lord will rebuke the devourers for you sake. All the spirits of emptier and wasters will not be able to operate in your business. 5. The Lord will not destroy the fruits of your ground. 6. The Lord will not your vine cast her fruits before time. 7 All nations shall call you blessed because you will become a lender to nations and not a borrower. 8. You will be delightsome land. Many will come form far and near to dwell anywhere you set the sole of your feet. Many will come to be recognized and associated with you.

1.Thou shall give 10% back to God Proverbs 3:9-10 2.Thou shall determine where thy 80% is going. Proverbs 27:23-24 3.Thou shall determine the total amount of thy debt and device a plan to pay it back . Psalms 37:21a 4. Thou shall destroy all thy credit cards except one. Luke 14:28 5. Thou shall sell or give away non-essential items or assets. Jonah 1:5 6. Thou shall not continually raise thy standard of living. Proverbs 21:2 7. Thou shall pray before you spend/pay. James 4:2 8. Thou shall buy with cash only (Discipline) . Proverbs 13:18a 9. Thou shall get control of thy spending. Proverbs 21:20 10. Thou shall not presume on future earnings. Luke 12:16-21

TEN COMMANDMENTS FOR MONEY MANGEMENT

A man who owns or rent a home would never be comfortable to sleep anywhere, except in his ROOM. This is because the ROOM is the only place of Comfort and Rest. As children of God we must make ROOM for our Lord Jesus Christ, so as to enter into our rest. (A period of peace, joy and success). Christ is knocking on the door of our heart; he wants to come in and dwell in us (Revelation 3:20). ARE WE READY? To make ROOM for Christ is to let Jesus Christ be the Lord of our lives, it is to acknowledge him as the Foundation of our being. (Proverbs 3:5-7) Jesus Christ has His divine plans for us (Jeremiah 29:11) and he is the only key to an abundant life (john 10:10). Remember Christ is the only burden carrier; when we make ROOM for Him; it would be possible for Him to handle the bundens of our lives (1 Peter 5:7, Psalms 55:22) BLESSED BELIEVERS, THIS IS THE SET TIME; LET US MAKE ROOM FOR JESUS. AND WE SHALL BE EMPOWERED FOR A SUCCESSFUL AND PROSPEROUS LIFE. Prayers O Lord, abide in me and take your rightful place in my heart in the name of Jesus.

The scepter of righteousness is the scepter of His kingdom Hebrew 1:9). Righteousness exalt a nation but sin is a reproach to any people. (Proverbs 14:34).

inlessness – Another key to the presence of the Lord is sinlessness. The Lord hates iniquity. All unrighteousness is sin (1 John 5:17) and the wages of sin is death. The psalmist asked the Lord to wash him thoroughly from his iniquity and cleanse him from his sins. He knew the implication of dwelling in sin and wanting to be in the Lord presence at the same time. He knew that he needed the spiritual cleansing and he cried unto the Lord so that he can teach transgressors the Lord‘s ways and also convert sinners unto the Lord. To be in sin is to die daily. Many of us are in this category of sinners. In one of the sermon of a man of God, he said committing sins is like digging your grave and hiding your hand until one day the grave becomes large enough to swallow you up. Your sins will find you out (Numbers 32:23) no matter what or how long you have hidden it. Be sinless, strive towards divine perfection. You can praise and worship him ivine Perfection – To be perfect in order to get the key into the presence of God you need the following essential characteristics; 

Are you facing a terrible challenge? Does the whole world seem to be against you? Do you feel God has abandoned you? Why has God allowed such evil to befall you? You keep asking. When the whole world seems to fall apart, it is easy to ask all these questions. It is easy to conclude that God is ignoring you. You may even be wondering if he cares at all as it is written in the Bible. Well, my friends, I want to assure you that He is still the UNCHAGEABLE CHANGER. The whole world may change but he is still the same. Why don‘t you start a network for God and evangelize in his name, it could be through blogging online, phone connections, emails, text messages, and instant messages. Networking for God will take your mind off the cares of this world. He will always uphold you with the ighteousness of his right hand. Bury the questions and link yourself to his socket of power. Let‘s build the highest network House for HIM.

Benevolence – (Matthew 19:21) Jesus told the young man who claimed to have kept all the commandment right from his youth that to be perfect he had to sell all that he had and give to the poor and follow him. You must be filled with and exhibit kindness, you must be compassionate. Every time Jesus ministered he was always filled with compassion for the people. You must also be generous, ready to assist with that is within you capacity.

Love – Above all things put on love which is the bond of perfection. (Col 3:14). One of the basic fruits of the spirit is love. Apostle Paul said if you have all things but lack love, you have nothing. Out of faith hope and love, the greatest is charity which is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13)

Good works – Striving towards perfection to gain access to the pres-ence of the Lord is through good works. By works a man is justified, and not by faith alone (James 2:22). Rahab was also justified by what she did receiving the messengers into her house. Control of the Tongue – ―If any man offends not in word, the

―Death and life are in the power of the mouth and they that love it will eat the fruit thereof‖. The tongue is a powerful vessel, once controlled then you discipline the whole body.

Obedience – ―But whoso keepeth his word, in him is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we in Him (1 John 2:5); Finally the last key to the presence of the Lord is what all the Patriarchs emulate from Adam, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Noah and Moses which is Obedience. Obedience comes from hear, obey and be blessed by God. In conclusion to receive the key, you must adhere and hearken to the word of God. The Lord has been revealing himself to us progressively throughout history. To our father Adam, he showed himself as the creator of everything. To Abraham, his presence is made manifest as the Lord who rewards obedience with blessing. To Moses his presence is shown as the ONLY GOD in existence. He made known his ways unto Moses and his acts unto the children of Israel (Psalms 103:7) We must be ready to receive the Salvation of-fered unto us. Salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ gives us the right to his presence. Then we can come boldly into his presence.

here is the belief that black women cannot grow hair but I have good news for you that it is a lie from the pit of hell. Having heard so many excuses from women as to the reason why they use wigs, perm or relax their hair, and put extensions, e. t. c. I decided Black women can and do grow hair. They do not have to use relaxer or touch up their hair in order for it to grow. It is a known fact that black hair needs special care and attention due to the curls. Many have straight hair and this type of hair is easy to comb. It is always advisable to use natural oils instead of any petroleum jelly product that will suffocate the hair follicle all because we want to grease the hair. Many leave their hair untreated after applying chemicals with the hope of making it stretched and grow. Many would not wash the hair to grow the root but this idea is not true about growing natural black hair. Many would leave their extensions or braids on for a long time believing that when they take it off, the hair would have grown considerably after relaxing it. The result of this type of idea is damaged hair, dirty scalp, skin allergies, burns and dirty hair. The best way to grow your hair is to go natural. When you relaxed the hair, it gets weaker and breaks faster. The only way for it to grow is when you take care of the hair. Black women need tutorial on how to grow, cultivate and nurture their hair. If you want a healthy natural black hair, do not relax it.

—-NATURAL IS IN.—— Throw all your chemicals in the trash and go natural. Remember the Lord said in Romans 1:23 “And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds and four footed beasts, and creeping things.”

The moment you change your natural self, any part, to unnatural you are telling the Lord He made a mistake. Many women are in dilemma over this issue. Why? They want to be accepted into the society and want recognition. In order to be accepted, they want to look like other people in the society. Remember Romans 12:2, “and be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God”. Many do not want to looked at as an ―old woman‖ but want to be ―trendy‖ in order to fit in the society. Many women today are aware of their God giving beauty now more than ever. They have realized that you do not have to alter your image to appeal to people. Some women have even given the excuses about doing all these fake attachment because they do not want to loose their husbands or they are looking for husbands. Are you saying that the man married you or will marry you because of the fake hair piece Are you challenging the word of God which is in Genesis 2:24, a union ordained by the Lord. The Foundation of a good marriage should not be based on beauty alone. Is this not food for thought? Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. The Shekinah glory of God upon your life is enough beauty to behold. You do not have to tell God daily He made a mistake with your creation for all he created ―was very GOOD‖. Genesis 1:31

BASIC STEPS TO A HEALTHY HAIR 1. SHAMPOOING Cleansing the hair is the first step to a healthy hair. You must choose the RIGHT shampoo and use the correct amount. You have to be careful when using the shampoo because too much or too little of the shampoo can damage the hair. 2. CONDITIONING After thorough cleansing and rinsing, you apply conditioner whether the hair is soft or resistant; you need the conditioner to soften the hair. Do not use too much for short hair or too little for long hair. Remember the hair follicle needs to breathe. 3. DRYING Most people harm their hair during this step when they towel-dry their hair. Some will rub vigorously till the hair start coming off. One thing you should know is that when the hair is wet, it is vulnerable to stretching and breakage. To dry your wet hair, run your hands through from over the head to the neck and squeeze gently between two finger the water from the ends. If your hair is short, blot the water out gently with your towel. Massage the scalp with the towel gently in very small movements. You can use the turban style to soak the water out from the hair for about 15 minutes. 4. COMBING It is advisable to use a comb with wide-set teeth. This will help to detangle the damp hair. Comb gently until smoothened out in the style your desire. Your comments will be appreciated. Thanks and have a good month

any have quenched that fire by their words, unbelief, and the unwillingness to change. So, it is time to check your baptism again. Does it have fire in it? Or have you lost it? Or have you lost it? The second reason we need fresh fire is so that we may be perfected in love. You must love all sinners, not wishing that any should perish. Paul said, ―Though I preach the gospel I have nothing to glory of, but necessity is laid upon me. Woe is me if I preach not the gospel.‖

He was able to say that because something had happened to him. The third reason we need fresh fire is for holy zeal to fall upon us. The apostles had fire and they got result. A friend of mine in England was invited to Russia to preach. He did

Not understand their language. He preached in English while another person interpreted in Russian language. His message was on why we have redundant people in the house of God. He said that those who are redundant in the house of God should be rendered more redundant. he message touched his interpreter so much that the man broke down and could not interpret any more. Then suddenly the Spirit of the living God fell upon my friend and for half an hour, he preached in Russian language and there was not a single sinner at that meeting who did not give his life to Jesus. Immediately the half an hour was over, he did not know what he was saying again. He just saw that sinners were coming out to give their lives to Christ. That is what the Holy Spirit could do in one‘s life. Beloved, we need to pray that the fire of the Holy Spirit should fall upon us by praying the following prayer points aggressively. 1. Anything hindering the move of the Holy Spirit in my life, release me now, in the name of Jesus. 2. Holy Ghost fire, move freely in my life, in the n a m e o f J e s u s . 3. Let the Holy Ghost fire purge my life, in the name of Jesus. 4. Anything quenching the fire of God in my life, die by fire, in Jesus. name

What type of warfare uniform is this? You look like a clown. I will deal with you today.

All these colors are even giving me headache.

Ha ha, me a clown? Who is a clown?

Lord, have mercy on us . Is this the armor of God you are supposed to put on? Truly, our people perish for lack of knowledge

Just look at his funny uniform. Warfare Regalia indeed, How can he come to the deliverance ground dressed like this?

Every believer is called, but the bible makes it clear that few are chosen. Once you are called, you will go through tests. There are numerous examples throughout the bible, from Elisha to the Apostles. Here are ten tests you will go through after you are called - tests that will determine whether or not you will be chosen:

1. TIME TEST - God will put you on the shelf and shut every door. 2. WORD TEST - You will have to rely solely on the Bible as God determines whether you will move closer to him or away from Him during this time of testing. 3. SERVANT TEST - God calls you to serve another person, even as Elisha poured water on Elijah‘s hands. 4. WLDERNESS TEST - Just as Moses spent 40 years in the wilderness being stripped of Egypt and his former life, the wilderness test is one of the most important. 5. PATIENCE TEST– Noah preached for over 100 years. God often calls us to wait upon Him 6. FRUSTRATION TEST– God desires to search the true heart of the believer, especially in times of pressure. 7. DISCOURAGEMENT TEST - What will it take to stop you? Can anything separate you from our Lord Jesus Christ? 8. WAR TEST- When the devil attacks, you must learn to walk in the spirit. 9. VISION TEST– Your vision will be tested— ARE YOU TRULY CALLED? You must make the vision plain and follow it. 10. PROMOTION TEST - Can you handle promotion?
