Ausco Modular wins top gong at HIRE23

Ausco Modular has received top honours at the Hire and Rental Industry Association’s 2023 Hire Industry Excellence Awards.

The Hire Company of the Year Award recognises companies in three categories — more than $10 million turnover, less than $10 million turnover and events — who have gone the extra mile when it comes to customer service, safety and performance. Ausco Modular received the award in the more than $10 million turnover category.

Ausco Modular has been constructing, transporting and installing modular buildings for 60 years and is Australia’s leading transportable hire and modular construction company.

Managing Director, George Petrohilos accepted the award at the HRIA’s gala dinner in Sydney in front of more than 500 HRIA members and guests on 26 May.

“We’re obviously thrilled to receive this award,” said Petrohilos. “It’s a true testament to the hard work that our talented teams across Australia deliver every day.”

“Our underlying ambition is to improve the spaces where people can live, work and learn.”

Rachel McKay, Ausco Modular General Manager –Commercial APAC said the company’s ethos stemmed from product development right through to delivery and off-hire.

The award was presented by the category sponsor, Rouse Analytics Managing Director, Phil Mause.

The prestigious Hire Industry Excellence Awards are a showcase of HRIA members who provide outstanding service in all categories of the hire and rental market. Other winners in the Hire Company of the Year awards were Swan Hill Hire, in the less than $10 million turnover category and Barlens Event Hire in the events category.
