Welcome to our Annual Spring Bull and Open Commercial Female Sale at Smoky Y Ranch, it is a pleasure to work with the crew here in Monument, Kansas to assemble the cattle for this event. The bulls in this offering will be yearlings with a selection emphasis on bulls that will add performance at weaning all the way through the rail. We targeted primarily to spring calving operations, but for those with fall herds this sale gives you the opportunity to tie into bulls that will have the advantage of time acclimate to your operation.

The bulls in the offering are a direct result of the growth and expansion that this program has had over the past few years. The cow base at Smoky Y has grown to well over 1500 head in number between the registered and commercial females in production. This number will continue to increase as the land base allows for it. Simply put, the Younkin family and this program are not going anywhere. In fact, it’s just getting started and they intend to earn your business and friendship at every level. Cody and Kelly are very aggressive and forward thinking and with their competitive nature they intend to be the best and provide the best. This spring offering of commercial heifers, and industry minded bulls will continue to grow and so will the customer service and marketing ventures offered for your commercial females and feeder cattle.
