WIGWAm, rEDWING AND ruNNING BEAr: LOts 383–480
Other guests who stayed in Running Bear include America, Ricky Nelson, George Martin, Rick Derringer, Joni Mitchell, Tony Orlando, Carole King and Rick Davies from the band Supertramp. Eddie Rabbitt liked to stay in Running Bear when he was at Caribou where he recorded such hits as “Step by Step,” “I Love a Rainy Night,” and “Driving My Life Away.”
Peter Cetera was one of the notable guests who stayed in Redwing. It was a small cabin up the hill on the ranch and was often home to some of the
crews, entourage and family when accompanying a principal musician. Caribou Ranch was isolated, but the bands and their friends and families had
full access to all the accomodations Caribou had to
offer. There were plenty of activities for everyone such as snowmobiling, horseback riding, fishing, hiking, cross country skiing and more.
