Nutritional Counseling

16 years – Adult (13 – 15 year olds with adult present) Qualified staff evaluates your current fitness level using our Health Management Software. The following is tested: blood pressure; resting heart rate; endurance; flexibility; muscular strength; and body fat. The results and information on improving overall fitness are provided at the time of the assessment. Stop by the front desk or call SHARC to schedule an appointment. Fees are due when appointment is scheduled. Day: Monday – Friday Fee: $50

Discuss proper eating habits, daily caloric intake based on your body and activity level, meal choices and planning, changes needed for your daily diet and setting realistic goals to achieve your wellness needs. Nutritional Counseling appointments require a 24 hour cancelation notice. Without proper notice, a loss of session or fee may result. Fee:

$25 for a 30 minute consultation. (If more time is needed or used, additional fees are assessed.) $15 for each 15 minute follow-up session

Water Exercise Class Descriptions

Classes are included with the purchase of your membership pass or single visit fee. Schedule on page 64. Aqua Fit

A moderate to high intensity class full of intervals to get your heart rate and your body moving. Each class covers the essentials of high energy cardio exercise, resistance and flexibility.

Aqua Jam

Get your body moving to the beat with this high energy, calorie burning class. Enjoy a great workout toning your entire body as you move to some great music. All levels are welcome.

AquaZumba®

Integrating the Zumba® formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, AquaZumba® blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief

Fit Friends

Fit Friends is a great way to start your day. This senior-based gentle class combines water resistance with light to moderate aerobic activity and great companionship. Mon/Wed/Fri is in the shallow end of the main pool and Tue/Thurs is in the warm water pool.

H20-To-Go

Kick start your body and your mind with this great morning workout. You’ll feel great all day and sleep well at night.

Hydro Tone

Push, pull and move your body. Let the waters resistance strengthen and lengthen your muscles. Tone your arms, abs and legs. This class is held in the deep water of the pool.

Power House

Gain strength, range of motion, functional correctness and endurance training for all fitness levels and physical abilities. The use of circuits, intervals and assorted equipment promises nearly limitless cross-training possibilities. Work hard, have fun and reap the benefits of water exercise. *Due to other activities in the pool, class participants may enter the water 5 minutes before the start of class.

Power Plunge

Get energized in the shallow and deep ends of the main pool. This challenging class increases endurance and provides a great aerobic workout.

Sweat-n-Wet

Enjoy a great workout while balanced in water with a buoyancy belt. Burn calories and tone your upper and lower body in the deep end of the main pool.

Total Body Conditioning

A fast-paced workout for intermediate to advanced fitness levels, this class provides cardio and resistance training while emphasizing proper form, maximizing your workout to improve core and total body strength. Perform a variety of exercises including intervals and circuits in deep and/or shallow water.

Warm Water Fitness

People who suffer from arthritis and joint injuries benefit from this conditioning class; however everyone is welcome to join. These classes are held in the warm water pool.
