Hilary Mulford

Raised by a family of environmental stewards, I developed my own respect and appreciation of nature. Landscape architecture is the perfect career for me in that it incorporates so much that I am passionate about; the environment, science, design, social justice, communication, history, community development as well as research and analysis. My goals for the future include becoming a licensed landscape architect and working to bring aspects of the natural environment into urban areas. Designing public parks to foster human connection with nature, rehabilitating and preserving ecosystems threatened by climate change, and continuing to be a strong environmental and social justice advocate are all high on my list of priorities.
