It is a sustainable housing complex project in Balçova, İzmir that will serve as lodging for the staff of İzmir University of Economics. Apartments of different square meters are designed for single, couple and couple with children. However, to the design; Various social areas such as cafes, restaurants, shopping malls, sports halls, hobby rooms and libraries have been added.

Every point of the land is surrounded by pedestrian and bicycle paths for pedestrianization. To reinforce this principle, the reach of vehicles has been limited. Social areas, on the other hand, are placed in central and accessible points to increase interaction.

The ats are placed in the north-south direction by using a cross-ventilation system to ensure air circulation. The openings between oors strengthen this ventilation system and create a social space by creating oor gardens.

Various sustainability criteria have been taken into account while designing the project. The project is terraced opposite the slope to allow the apartments to see south and bene t from the maximum sun in winter. However, in order to keep the sun and accumulated radiation away in summer, protruding balconies were used and the building colour was chosen as white.

This olympic swimming pool project in Karşıyaka, İzmir; It consists of three main parts: olympic pool, management and spa. In addition, this building, which includes different facilities such as gym, bath, thermal pool and massage rooms, is divided into three main parts. In this way, the building was provided to be used continuously and made more open to the public. The building has two entrances opening to two different roads, front and back. The façade facing north faces the façade with tram and bus stops. The masses are also oriented to look at these stops and invite people to the building.

It is the rst project of the period, is a colony design project that lasts for two weeks. The project is predominantly a utopian architectural idea project. It was established based on a disaster scenario. According to the scenario we created, as a result of global warming, the world has warmed, the water level has increased; Scientists have decided to establish a research colony for the earth which has begun to be destroyed as the result of global warming. However, this colony is designed to be used for different purposes such as sheltering when the heat rises to an unimaginable level in other continents of the world. The colony is inspired by the various properties of the milkweed seed pods plant using biomimicry.

The shell, which protects and holds the seeds of the plant, has inspired the shell that holds the units together and can be separated if necessary. This allows the passage between the units without going out in the cold and dry polar climate. Plant’s bres which help the pollination are good isolation material because of its hollow molecules. Inspired by this hollow structure, the shell is designed with good sound and heat insulation.

In order to prevent the snow accumulation from covering the building at the poles where the winds are very severe, the structure has been designed with high feet so that the wind can be absorbed under the structure and the aerodynamic structure of the units is designed to be affected from the wind at the minimum level.

It is a two-week group project. The form was created on the basis of an anthropomorphic design, inspired by the slow transformation of the aerobic positions of the human body into various postures. Various points were selected from these positions and shapes were formed. Then, with the generation of these shapes, by following their general form a dynamic- owing structure was then created. The hollow form of the shelter and the glass that covers these spaces allow daylight to enter. This creates a more natural perception for pedestrians in the interior. And the use of light at various points inside the metro station is minimized.

While a kinetic facade was designed, it was asked to react to an environmental impact. The model of this facade, which is opened and closed according to the amount of light in the outdoor environment, was adapted to the reality using Arduino. Therefore, if the environment is very sunny, the panels close automatically and the accumulation of radiation in the interior is prevented. If the sun is less than a certain amount outdoors, the panels will open and let the daylight in. The modeling of the façade was done using Grassopher. Various parameters have been changed in the grassopher and the model has been provided to be retractable.
