They say the third time is the charm. And while we’ve loved each unique design of our Chicago showroom space, Hightower’s third transformation is certainly not lacking in the charm department.

This space is all about color, confidence and owning your energy and power. We sought to inspire and delight, while creating a feeling of inclusion for all.

Exciting, optimistic, and enticing, we hope this space encourages you to venture out from the comforts of home, and to take up space in the world.

The same as it was YOU KNOW IT’S NOT

The challenge of designing the same space for a third time is one our design team took on with excitement and enthusiasm.

Seeing things in a new light means reimagining what a space can do and who it is for. With this new design, we wanted to showcase how Hightower furniture can build in that flexibility while still feeling carefree and joyful.

When working with Interior Designer, Casey Keasler, we asked, “If Harry Styles was a showroom, that is what we want”. We were inspired by how he blends both feminine and masculine elements for an inclusive feeling that draws people in.

While striking and dynamic visually, this new design also seeks to capture a lightness and a certain carefree feeling that sparks joy while functioning in numerous practical ways. Like the ease and comfort of our Flote Collection, featured here, we hope this space inspires you to float through your day with a sense of delight.

LAy oN LAYERSTHE

Adding texture is often exclusively thought of as utilizing tactile fabrics and textiles. We decided that wasn’t enough. Elements such as transparent polka dots on the walls, power-clashing patterns, and using wall hooks to create a 3D installation are intentional details that add depth and layers to this space, infusing a dynamic and eclectic feeling.

Summit is an investigation into how a cushioned hillside, with its gentle elevation, can create intimate sharing spaces for people to work, learn, and unwind.

As flexibility becomes increasingly important in how people work, our focus turns to creating spaces that can serve different functions at the flip of a dime. The Summit Collection may look like a large static installation, but with a gentle push and a little creativity, this modular benching can be instantly transformed into a whole new configuration for a different purpose, thanks to the clever magnetic design.

If we’re open to shifting our thinking of what constitutes a “work space”, we can break free from the rigidity of traditional spaces and unlock a world of playful possibilities. make a shift.

Light plays an integral part in any design. Whether shining through the windows, glowing from a wall sconce, or bouncing off a disco ball, the way light plays in this space feels exciting and ever-changing. Visit once in the morning and again in the afternoon, and chances are, you’ll see something in a whole new way.

Yet, fathom, we did. To envision a conference setting in a new light, we focused on creating comfort and ease with function built in. Our Adapt Collection pulls together a space where you can bring your own laptop and ideas, and collaborate with others without the formality of traditional meeting space confines. It’s in an environment like this where creativity thrives, voices are heard, and we can again find comfort in connection.

The core of each of our showroom designs are the unexpected details. While you may not know what you’ll find in each room you step into, thoughtful elements like repeating patterns and color combinations help draw you through the space and maintain a cohesive feeling.

Finishing touch the

Like an outfit without jewelry or a meal without spice, a space without accessories feels like it’s missing something. To complement the striking and vibrant design of this year’s showroom, we knew we couldn’t settle for standard. We partnered with the online curated art and decor marketplace, Wescover, to discover one-of-a-kind pieces from creators all over the world that bring a sense of joy and playfulness to the space.

Much like the rest of the world, Hightower’s showroom has changed greatly over the years. Its evolution is reflective of the shift in human behaviors along with our company’s growth and focus.
