Careers sessions at Starkholmes
Over the past couple of weeks, our year 7 and 8 students have been really fortunate to experience some fantastic externally delivered sessions based on careers.

These lessons have been led by Emma Cooke cook from the DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) and have given the students an excellent foundation for thinking about the world around them and the working world they will join after their time in education.
The sessions included a variety of fun activities with students developing and utilising skills in communication, presentation, creativity and teamwork.
We would like to extend our thanks to Emma Cook and the DWP for providing these sessions to so many different groups in the past two weeks and we look forward to working together again in the very near future.
