Shout Outs

Staff have been sending in messages to let school know about the good work students are producing while they are learning from home and we wanted to share these with you.

Year 9 Biology

Mrs Stafford wanted to give a shout out for Ashton, Grace, Jack, Lauren, Lydia, Sophie and Emily for the really good pieces of graph work her year 9's completed last week for biology – well done! Some examples are given below.

Year 12 Musicians

Mr Rowley would like to thank his dedicated prospective year 12 and current year 12 musicians who have attended lessons online since the beginning of the lockdown, including during the Easter holidays. They have taken to the process like the responsible young adults they are, preparing work for each session and contributing during the sessions themselves.

“What began as an online lesson has become an intellectually stimulating experience (for me at least!), which I actually look forward to.” Mr Rowley.

Mathematicians of the week

It has been a big week in maths as we tried our first assessment with year 10. Well done to all students that submitted their work on time.
