The Geography department would like to give the LOUDEST shout out to Shannon in 8LT who not only battled with technology to participate in a fieldwork lesson beamed live from Snowdonia, but also produced the most SPECTACULAR piece of written work and even made a rain gauge.
Well done Shannon!! Keep this up, you have done yourself proud.

Mrs Barker would like to comment on the great work from her geography classes. She has been overwhelmed by the commitment, determination AND resilience of a number of students in 7JST, 8ET, year 10, year 11 and year 12 this week, in particular:
Caleb, Jensen and Emily in year 7 for going back to their rivers quiz and improving their scores.
Shannon M, Shannon G, Frankie, Ethan, Harriet and Isla in 8ET for overcoming the technology on the LIVE fieldwork lesson and producing AMAZING work.
Sally-Anne, Ryan and Daniel in year 10 for some lovely note-taking and organisation of work (not easy in these COVID-19 times!).
In our NEW year 11 A-level group, some fantastic A-level-worthy fieldwork has been completed by Rose, Alex, Archie, Isabella and Jobe - already!!!
And finally our existing year 12 A-level geography group have produced some mind-blowingly excellent research projects ... worthy of A-level grades already ... well done to: India, Hannah, Olivia, Ella, Meg and Libby.
Mrs Millington is pleased to see the first examples of her class producing homemade weather stations.
The image opposite is a rain gauge made by Evelyn in year 8 – well done, it even makes me want it to rain!
