About the programme:
Any Questions? was first broadcast in October 1948.
Every week it visits a different part of the country with a panel of four speakers who answer questions from the audience. The programme provides the opportunity for people to challenge politicians, policy makers, writers and thinkers. The programme is broadcast live on Radio 4 on most
Friday evenings of the year following the 8pm news. The programme is repeated on Saturday lunchtimes at 1.10pm, and is followed at 2pm by the Any Answers? phone-in which gives listeners a chance to join in the debate by calling or e-mailing Anita Anand. Currently, around 1.6 million people listen to Any Questions? each week, the majority of them hearing the Saturday lunchtime repeat.
About the event:
Arrival is from 6.30pm, being seated by 7.15pm. The warm-up will begin at 7.30pm and Any Questions? is broadcast LIVE on BBC Radio 4 at 8.02pm.
To make the best programme questions are needed from the audience. Question cards will be provided on the night, and audience members can also email anyquestions@bbc.co.uk with question(s) before the programme, stating your name and that you will be attending the broadcast.
Please remember that you must be prepared to ask the question yourself on air. Please keep your questions short if you can.
You can hear Any Questions? every Friday at 8.02pm, repeated on Saturday at 1.10pm.
Any Answers? follows Any Questions? on Saturday and gives you a chance to join the debate by calling 03700 100 444 or emailing any.answers@bbc.co.uk.
