We are looking to appoint a part time technician to support the D&T department. The ideal candidate will have experience of safe usage, operation, serviceability, maintenance and correct application of a wide range of machinery together with being highly organised, an effective communicator and have the ability to build excellent working relationships with staff and students.

Highfields is a vibrant and popular school with approximately 1200 friendly and highly motivated students, including 200 in our sixth form. We were judged as a good school by Ofsted in May 2017. We look to appoint staff who are willing to contribute fully to the life of the school and who are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

School Business Assistant – Exam Invigilators

Science Technician

We are looking to appoint a confident, enthusiastic and resourceful science technician to join our high achieving department. You will need to provide efficient and effective support in the preparation of materials, equipment and resources to support teaching and learning. Ideally, you should have experience of working in a school/college and be able to work flexibly and alone, as well as part of a team.

You should be willing to contribute fully to the life of the school and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

We are looking to recruit positive and friendly midday supervisors to join our team. As a midday supervisor at Highfields, you will assist and supervise students at lunchtime and encourage responsible and appropriate behaviour. You should enjoy helping young people and be enthusiastic, patient and discreet as well as being able to work as part of a team.

We are flexible on working days to fit around any other commitments.
