Manley Saint John Hibbert was born to Mr. and Mrs. Huntley Hibbert on October 20, 1943, in Kingston, Jamaica. One of 10 children, he was baptized at StAnn's Roman Catholic Church.

During his education at All Saints All Age School, he joined the Boy Scouts, which he enjoyed. Manley loved working with his hands, so on leaving school, he went to Motor Sales and learned the motor mechanic trade. He later enlisted in the Jamaica Defense Force and became a part of the Major Harts Division of the Jamaica Legion in 1963.

He treasured his time as a soldier. With great honor, he spoke of his maturing and his drive for order, which he attributed to his experiences in the Army. On appropriate occasions, he proudly wore the poppy, which commemorated his military linkages.
In 1965, he married Paulette 'Bev' Johnson. In 1968, Manley and Bev migrated to the United States where he lived for years.
A passion of his was his talent at cabinetry. Manley had a zest for life and was known to be the king on the dance floor. It's also been said of him there was rarely a time he was not smiling.
He leaves five children, Andrea Sandra Dee, Camille Dawn, Mark Anthony Saint John, Angelique Nicole, and Claudienne Renee, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
His living siblings are Dudley 'Uncle Mickey' Hibbert, Edward Hibbert, Alex Hibbert, Veronica 'Aunt Nini' Neunie, Norma 'Aunt Polly' Edwards, and Margaret 'Aunt Dee' Jennings.
Coming from a large family and with many friends, he made it a point to always be in their midst. He leaves them with fond, loving memories, as he richly impacted their lives.
Manley spent the second round of his life back in Jamaica. During that time, in one of his reflections on his life, he reinforced his love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
May God rest his soul and light perpetually shine upon him.

Blessed Assurance Jesus Is Mine

Blessed assurance , Jesus is mine , Oh , what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of sal vation , purchase of God , Born ofHis Spirit, washed in His blood.
Refrain

This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Saviour all the day long; This is my story, this is my song , Praising my Saviour all the day long.
Perfect submission , perfect delight, Visions of rapture now burst on my sight ; Angels descending, bring from above Echoes of merc y, whispers oflove .
Perfect submission , all is at rest , I in my Saviour am happy and blest ; Watching and waiting, looking above, Fill ' d with His goodness, lost in His love.
What A Friend We Have I n Jesus
What a friend we have in Jesus , All our sins and griefs to bear ; What a pri v ilege to carry Everything to God in prayer! Oh , what peace we often forfeit , Oh , what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer!
Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged , Take it t o the Lord in prayer!
Can we find a friend so faithful Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness , Take it to the Lord in prayer!
Are we weak and heavy laden , Cumbered with a load of care , Precious Saviour still our refuge , Take it to the Lord in prayer; Do th y friend s despise , forsake Thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer In His arms He ' ll take and shield Thee Thou wilt find a solace there
