OPERATOR’S STATION
When the switch knob is in the ON position, room light (1) comes ON. When the switch knob is in the OFF position, room light (1) goes OFF.
Sun Visor (Optional)
Pull the sun visor down when blocking strong sun light radiation from the cab top side.
Drink Holder
IMPORTANT: Be sure to put a plug or cap on a drink bottle when placing it on the drink bottle holder.
Coat Hook
Use coat hook (1) for hanging up your jacket and hat.
Rear View Mirror
d WARNING: Do not travel the machine in reverse by relying on only the range of vision the rear view mirror (2) provides. Use the rear view mirror only as an assistant during travel operation. Be sure to confirm the safety by using your own visibility when traveling the machine in reverse.
After taking the seat, adjust the rear view mirror so that the good rearward visibility can be obtained. Always keep the mirror clean.

FM/AM Radio (Optional) Operation
Controls on the Radio
1- Power/Volume Switch
Each time switch (1) is pressed, electric power is turned ON or OFF alternately. Turn switch (1) clockwise to increase the sound volume. Turn switch (1) counterclockwise to decrease the sound volume. While pulling out switch (1), turn it clockwise to intensify the right side speaker volume, or turn it counterclockwise to intensify the left side speaker volume.
2- Tone Adjusting Knob
Turn knob (2) clockwise to intensify high-pitched tone or turn knob (2) counterclockwise to intensify low-pitched tone.
3- Display
Displays time or frequency.
4- Memory Button
5- AM/FM Switch Button fNOTE: When a stereo broadcasting is received, stereo indicator (11) comes ON.
Each time button (5) is pressed within an interval less than 5 seconds with the frequency kept displayed, the modulation mode is shifted in the order of AM1 → AM2 → FM1 → FM2.

Tuning Procedures
• Manual Tuning Procedure
Repeatedly press at intervals shorter than 0.5 seconds one of tuning buttons (7) until the desired station is reached. Each time the tuning button is pressed, the frequency phase changes at the intervals of AM: 9 kHz and FM: 0.1 MHz.
Tap the tuning switch [UP] ( ) to increase the frequency. Tap the tuning switch [DOWN] ( ) to decrease the frequency.
• Automatic Tuning Procedure fNOTE: If the receiving radio waves are weak, i.e. such as when the machine is located between high rising buildings, etc., use the manual tuning procedure to select the desired station.
Press and hold search button (7) for more than half a second. When a station is received, an electronic tone is heard and operation automatically stops.
Tap the tuning switch [UP] ( ) to increase the frequency. Tap the tuning switch [DOWN] ( ) to decrease the frequency.
Station Presetting Procedure
6 stations in each modulation mode (AM1, AM2, FM1 and FM2) can be preset (24 stations in total).
1. Press memory button (4) while receiving radio broadcasting. The channel No. indicated on display (3) starts blinking.
2. Select the station desired to preset by pressing channel button (8). Channel No. indicated on display (3) is shifted.
3. After selecting the station, press memory button (4). Then, the selected station is preset.
4. Each time when channel button (8) is pressed, stations stored in the preset memory (1 CH to 6 CH) can be received in order.
When required to change the preset station, repeat the same procedures as described in steps 1 to 4 above.
• Deletion of Presetting Memory
When the battery power is disconnected from the radio due to machine maintenance work or removal of the radio, memories stored by memory button (4) are deleted. Retry presetting in this case.
Auto Station Presetting Procedure
Automatically received station is stored in the preset memory.
1. Select either AM or FM using AM/FM Switch button (5).
2. Press and hold AS button (6) for longer than 2 seconds. An electronic tone is heard and one of 6 stations is automatically stored at good sensitivity.
Digital Clock Setting Procedure
Set the clock with the key switch ON.
1. Press and hold AM/FM switch button (5) until an electronic tone is heard. A time display starts blinking so that time setting becomes ready. If no operation is made for 15 seconds afterwards, the clock setting mode is deactivated.
2. Press tuning button (7) to change the time. Press “H” button and “M” button to adjust “Hour” and “Minute” respectively.
3. Press AM/FM switch button (5) to set the time.
NOTE: When putting the clock by the time signal, press memory button (4) during the clock display blinking.
Alarm Setting Procedure
Alarm can be set to emit at desired time. Each time alarm button (9) is pressed, alarm ON and OFF is repeatedly set.
1. Press and hold alarm button (9) until an electronic tone is heard. Alarm mark (13) starts blinking so that alarm can be set. If no operation is made for 15 seconds afterwards, the alarm setting mode is deactivated.
2. Press tuning button (7) to change the time. Press “H” button and “M” button to adjust “Hour” and “Minute” respectively.
3. When the set time arrives, the alarm continues to sound for 3 minutes. Press alarm button (9) to stop the alarm.
