TESTS : TRAVELLING, STACKING

a) Take the 1.1 Pm test load on the ground and lift it 15 cm above said ground.

b) Tilt the uprights to their maximum backward position.

c) Travel forward at maximum speed. During this trial : - perform a progressive braking - perform a sudden braking. During this trial the rear wheels may leave the ground but shall get back in contact with the ground.

d) Perform several bends at approximately one third of the maximum speed specified for this travelling direction and along a turning radius of three times the minimum turning radius specified by the manufacturer.

e) Lay the load down onto the ground.

f) Perform the same trials in reverse gear.

2.2 Stacking test

The trials described herebelow shall be performed three times :

a) Take the load from the ground and lift it 15 cm above same.

b) Tilt the uprights to maximum backward position.

c) Bring the vehicle in front of a location especially arranged for stacking.

d) Lift the load to the maximum height (check the limit safety devices).

e) Travel forward slowly in order to bring the load above the stacking location.

f) Put the brakes on.

g) Bring the fork rams in a plane close to the horizontal.

h) Lay the load down slowly on the stacking location.

i) Draw the fork out by slightly lowering same or, if necessary by slightly tilting the mast forward.

j) Take again the load with the horizontal fork and lift it a little.

k) Tilt the uprights to their maximum backward position.

l) Release the brakes.

m) Back up to remove the load from its stacking location.

n) Lower the load to 15 cm above ground stopping several times during this operation.

o) Lay the load down onto the ground.

The operations b, g, l, k apply to equipment provided with tilting masts.
