Signs on the machine

Describe the functions of the operating devices that are not individually labelled.

Indicates the permissible lift loads that can be attached to the end of the stick, depending on its actual reach.

When operating the machine, always strictly adhere to the accident prevention instructions included in the operating manual.

Before opening the bonnet, shut down the engine.

7: Slewing gear release

Indicates the "Slewing gear release" button at the access ladder. By pressing this button, the machine operator confirms that no persons other than himself/herself are located on the machine.

After pressing a second button in the operator's cab, the slewing gear is released and the uppercarriage can be swivelled.

8: Jump-starting

When jump-starting the machine, strictly adhere to the instructions in the operating manual.

9: Prohibition sign

It is prohibited to access the marked area.

Indicates the attachment points for lifting and assembly.

The signs indicate the following:

1: Tie-down point

Indicates the tie-down points for transport and assembly.

Indicates the attachment points for lifting and assembly.

Caution: These points are designed to bear individual parts and cannot carry the total weight of the machine.

3: Point of danger

Risk of injury!

Do not stand inside the danger area of the machine while it is in operation. During operation of the machine, no persons other than the machine operator may be standing on the machine.

4: Bell

Indicates the bell buttons at the access doors. When the button is pressed, a ring sound is audible in the operator's cab.

2.4.2ID tag

The machine and its components (e.g. diesel engine, gearbox, pumps) are equipped with ID tags. The ID tags indicate the ID numbers of the components.

The ID tag of the machine is located at the front of the uppercarriage. It contains the following information:
