CHAPTER 1. NAMES OF MAJOR COMPONENTS

CHAPTER 2. COLLECTOR OPERATION
1. BEFORE OPERATION
CAUTION:
・Become familiar with the operation of the front mower and understand safety instructions by reading this manual carefully.
・Make sure that all safety covers and guards are installed in position properly.
・Before operating the collector, make sure that collector lift and dump smoothly.
・When operating the collector, make sure that hydraulic hose is not pulled and interfered.
2. ADJUSTING THE GRASS LIMIT SENSOR a. Filler level of container depends on the adjustment of the adjust nut/M8 (2) and adjust bolt/M4 (3). b. Adjust the filler level of container by the adjust nut/ M8 (2) and adjust bolt/M4 (3). c. When changing the sensor level to slow, loosen adjust nut/M8 (2), and adjust container limit sensor (1) to downward. d. When changing the sensor level to quick, loosen adjust nut/M8 (2), and adjust container limit sensor (1) to upward. e. Turn the starter switch to ON position. Make sure that full container monitor lamp on monitor lamp array is illuminated when operating the container limit sensor. (1) Container limit sensor (2) Adjust nut/M8 (3) Adjust bolt/M4
3. PTO STOP SAFETY SWITCH
Make sure that mower PTO and blower PTO will stop after 1 second from operating blower shooter switch. Do not approach the mower PTO and blower PTO a. Park the front mower on level ground. Set the engine speed to approximately 1 800 - 2 000 RPM. Push the mower PTO switch to ON position, and then lift and dump the container. Make sure that mower PTO and blower PTO will stop automatically by operating the safety switch.

4. CLEANING A COLLECTOR

Reflector plate (3) Container net ASSY (6) Stopper a. If net of container is clogged with grass, the power would go down. Clean the net of container frequently. b. Open rear door (1) and hold it by rear hook (2). Pull out container net ASSY (3) and clean it. c. After cleaning, insert the container net ASSY (3) deeply into stopper (6), along net guide (4). Make sure that reflector plate (5) is towards the rear.

CAUTION: If container net ASSY and reflector plate (5) is damaged with hole, there is a danger of shooting objects from rear door (1). Repair the damaged parts immediately.
5. EFFICIENT COLLECTING
IMPORTANT: ・Keep rear net of container clean always.
・ When mowing the wet or long grass, filling rate of container would go down. Slow down front mower.
・Adjust the grass limit sensor as necessary
・Stop operating the front mower as soon as the warning horn sounds and dump grass of container.
6. FOLDING THE ROPS TOP
CAUTION: The use of the upper frame can be avoided only when there is no risk at all of rolling-over.
a. When it is operated at the place with many twigs, ROPS (1) can be folded.
b. Lift or dump container (2).
c. Loosen Bolt/M16x110 (4), and remove bolt/M16x30 (3). Rotate ROPS (1) to the rear side of the machine. Fix bolts and nuts firmly.
7. WARNING HORN FOR FULL CONTAINER SOUNDS
a. When the container is full, warning horn sounds.
8. ADJUSTMENT OF THE SWING ROD
a. When grass is concentrated at the right side into the container, extend swing rod (1). When grass is concentrated at the left side into the container, shorten swing rod.
b. To adjust the swing rod, remove L bowl (3) from swing plate (2) side, and loosen lock nut of L bowl (3).
c. After adjusting, assemble L bowl (3) and tighten lock nut
9. DISCHARGE OF GRASS a. When grass is discharged from the container, be sure to park it on hard, level ground.
WARNING: Do not discharge grass at the slope area because balance cannot be kept when lifting or dumping collector.
CHAPTER 3. INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE OF MAJOR PARTS
1. INSPECTION OF HYDRAULIC HOSES a. When operating the collector, be sure to check that hydraulic hose is not pulled and interfered. b. When the hydraulic hose is damaged, change it as soon as possible.
DANGER: It is dangerous to operate the front mower with damaged hydraulic hose. It may cause the collector to fall down or a hydraulic line to burst suddenly.
2. GREASING POINTS
Grease up the points mentioned below periodically. (As same as opposite side)

DANGER: When applying to grease point of lift cylinder, make sure to lift the collector and lock another side of the lift cylinder by lift locks. It is dangerous to grease without lift locks.

IMPORTANT:
There should be no loose ones.
There should be no lost or deformed ones.
There should be no clog.
• Above mentioned service intervals are for normal usage. If working conditions are harder, earlier service is recommended.
• If special skill or special tool are required or you feel difficulty in maintenance, consult your dealer.
CHAPTER 4. STORING THE COLLECTOR
When the collector is to be stored for a long period of time, service the collector as mentioned below before storing it.
a. Clean the collector. Take special care to remove grass and dirt from the container net.
b. Remove grass or other objects tangled around the linkage and hydraulic hose.
c. Remove all rust and touch up where paint has been peeled off with touch-up paint supplied by ISEKI.
d. Be sure to re-install all the removed parts.
e. Lost pins and clips should be re-installed with new ones.
f. Check each part for damage and repair or replace damaged ones with new ones for the next operation.
IMPORTANT: Use ISEKI genuine parts when replacing.
g. Grease up all grease points.
h. All loose bolts and nuts should be tightened properly and lost ones should be re-installed with new ones.
i. Store the collector in a dry place with wooden blocks placed under it and cover with tarpaulin or the like.
CAUTION: When storing with the collector installed on the front mower, be sure to settle it at the lowest position so as to prevent unexpected accidents caused by manipulation of the lift and dump lever by children or unauthorized people.
