On the crane control display

Various indicators and adjustment capabilities become active on the hydraulically derricked lattice extension. For calling up menus and for setting à Operating instructions GMK4075-1 – Part 2 Crane operation.

HIf the electrical connection between the main boom and the lattice extension is disconnected, the symbol for the lattice extension will be shown in grey on grey in both of the following submenus.

Indicator lamp Derricking lattice extension on/off (1) is displayed in the main menu. The indicator lamp shows whether the derricking gear of the lattice extension is switched on or off.

In the Power unit speed sub-menu, the symbol (1) for lattice extension operation is shown in black and the maximum speed for lowering the lattice extension can be entered in addition to the other power units.

In the Operating hours counter sub-menu, the value in the display under the symbol for the lattice extension (1) increases by the time in which the lattice extension is derricked.

On the safe load indicator

The following displays and buttons are active on the safe load indicator with the electrically connected lattice extension.

Lattice extension length display and input

Entering an SLI code for working with the lattice extension activates the Lattice extension length (2) display and indicates the length of the lattice extension. The displayed value is obtained from the SLI code shown. The value is displayed in metres (m) or feet (ft) depending on the setting, e.g.17.0m (56.0 ft). When input mode is switched on in the SLI code display, press the Input lattice extension length (1) button repeatedly to show additional values permitted according to the Lifting capacity table in ascending order. When the greatest length is reached and the button is pressed again, the display starts again at the beginning with the lowest value.

The function of the display (2) and of the button (1) is different, depending on whether an SLI code is entered for a hydraulically derricked lattice extension or an SLI code is entered for a manually inclinable lattice extension.

–The Current lattice extension inclination display function is active for a hydraulically derricked lattice extension.

Entering an SLI code for working with the lattice extension activates the

Current lattice inclination (2) display and indicates the current lattice inclination to the main boom in degrees.

After pressing the Angle of lattice extension input (1) button, the angle of lattice extension in relation to the horizontal is shown in degrees for approx.2seconds.

–The Angle of lattice extension display and input function is active for a manually inclinable lattice extension.

Entering an SLI code for working with the lattice extension activates the

Lattice extension length display and indicates the angle of lattice extension to the main boom in degrees. The displayed value is obtained from the

When input mode is switched on in the SLI code display, press the Input lattice extension angle (1) button repeatedly to show additional values permitted according to the Lifting capacity table in ascending order.

When the greatest inclination is reached and the button is pressed again, the display starts again at the beginning with the lowest value.
