Appendix C: Required For Operation

WARNING: Do not operate the BP1166 BALE PROCESSOR unless the tractor complies with the following requirements:

1.Horsepower - 60 HP minimum.

2.Rollover protective structure and seat belts.

3.Hydraulic system - 8 gallons per minute (30 liters per minute) minimum, 1,800-Psi minimum (105 bar) two-way valves.

4.Two double acting control valves.

5.The tractor must be of equal or greater weight than the BP1166 BALE PROCESSOR and bale to assure adequate braking and steering control.

6.Counterbalance weight - It may be necessary to add weight to the front end of your tractor to maintain adequate tractor stability and control. At least 20% of the total weight must remain on the front axle.
