Engine hood removal

Heavy objects! Lift and handle all heavy components using lifting equipment with adequate capacity . Always support units parts with suitable slings hooks. Make sure the work area clear all bystanders. Failure comply could result death serious injury .

From the cab, release the engine hood, and open it. NOTE: if the Bowden cable is faulty , the hood can released the left - hand side the vehicle using a hook.

Secure the hood with suitable lifting gear and open it. Disconnect the rearview camera wire harness (if machine is equipped with a rearview camera).

Remove the screw (A) the sliding rod and the hexagon nut (B) the gas - operated strut. Remove the two screws (C) that fix the hood the rear frame and put the plate (D) aside.
