Description of function
Baler hydraulic valve block. Function of input pressure balance (7063) in constant-flow operation The spring space of input pressure balance (7063) is relieved to the return line T when no working hydraulics functions are activated. When oil flows, the pressure balance is opened against the spring. The flow rate flows from P (8040) to T (8041) at low circulation pressure (15 - 20 bar). When a function requiring pressure build-up in the working hydraulics is actuated, a load signal is transmitted into the spring space of input pressure balance (7063). This load signal and the spring space control the pressure balance.
The minimum oil pressure in channel P
The oil pressure in channel P when activating a function
The maximum oil pressure in channel P The minimum oil pressure in channel (P) is 15 -20 bar with neutral oil circulation, corresponding to the spring pre-load of input pressure balance (7063) in the hydraulic valve block of the baler. In the case of a power-beyond connection to the tractor hydraulics, the minimum oil pressure in channel (P) corresponds to the standby pressure of the tractor hydraulics if no function is actuated.
When a function is actuated on the baler or on the bale wrapper, a load pressure is transmitted through the LS line to the spring space of input pressure balance (7063). With a power beyond connection to the tractor hydraulic system, a load pressure is transmitted through the LS line to the (LS) controller of the tractor hydraulic pump. The respective oil pressure in channel (P) for the actuated function is LS load pressure + spring preload (15-20 bar) of the input pressure balance (7063). Or, in case of a power beyond connection to the tractor hydraulic system, load pressure + margin pressure (spring pre-load) of the LS controller of the tractor hydraulic pump.
The load pressure (LS) is limited by a LS pressure relief valve (7085) in the baler's hydraulic valve block. This valve is set to 180 bar. The maximum oil pressure in P is therefore the limited LS pressure 180 bar + spring pre-load of pressure balance 15 to 20 bar = around 200 bar. Or, in case of a power beyond connection to the tractor hydraulic system, limited LS pressure + margin pressure (spring pre-load) of the LS controller of the tractor hydraulic pump 15 to 40 bar = around 200 to 220 bar.
Tractor hydraulic systems
This implement can be connected to all tractor hydraulics customary in the market. The tractor must be able to supply the minimum or maximum flow rate and oil pressure of the baler according to the Operator's Manual.
Connection to tractors with constant-flow hydraulic system Example:a) Tractor version 1
The quick-release coupling P (8040) is connected to a control unit port on the tractor with adjustable oil quantity. This control unit for oil supply of the implement is set to constant flow rate according to the baler's Operator's Manual.
The system screw (6034) is completely screwed in and then screwed back out through the number of turns indicated on the valve block. The input pressure balance (7063) is operating and has a pressure difference of 15-20 bar with this setting.
Quick-release coupling T (8041) is, in general, connected to the pressure-free return line T connection of the tractor. If a pressure-free return line cannot be used in continuous operation (e.g. because the lubrication of the tractor's gears is not ensured), a double-action control unit can also be used to supply oil to the implement. In this case, the quick-release coupling (8040) is connected to port - A (feed line) and quick-release coupling (8041) with port - B (return line) of the corresponding tractor control valve. Please refer to the tractor Operator's manual (e.g. continuous operation of hydraulic motors). The optional quick-release coupling (8042) (LS signal) is not used in this option. If the tractor is not equipped with an adjustablevolume control unit, the flow rate must not exceed 80 l/min.
Important:
In this operating mode, the power-beyond mode restrictor (4054) cannot be installed in the P line. It would result in the heating up of the oil. Connection to tractors with load sensing system and a power-beyond connection possibility Example:b) Tractor version 2
The quick-release coupling P (8040) is connected directly with the pump via the power-beyond port P. Quick-release coupling T (8041) is connected with connection T (pressure-free return line) of the tractor. The optional quick-release coupling (8042) (implement LS signal) here is connected to the LS signal port of the tractor.
655-002
The system screw (6034) is screwed in to the stop so that the input pressure balance (7063) is blocked.
The tractor's hydraulic pump is regulated in accordance with the load signal of the implement.
Important:
In this operating mode, the power-beyond mode restrictor (4054) can be installed in the P line. • When the hydraulic system protective valve (7190) is released frequently or when the wrapping unit moves too abruptly, the power beyond mode restrictor (4054) should be installed. • When movements are too slow, wrapping unit speed is uneven or the film cutters do not open enough, the power beyond mode restrictor (4054) should be removed. Connection to tractors with load-sensing system with no power-beyond connection possibility The quick-release coupling P (8040) is connected to a control unit port on the tractor with adjustable oil quantity.
The quick-release coupling (8042) (LS, working hydraulics signal) is not used in this option. If the tractor is not equipped with an adjustablevolume control unit, the flow rate must not exceed 80 l/min.
Important:
In this operating mode, the power-beyond mode restrictor (4054) cannot be installed in the P line. It would result in the heating up of the oil.
Test items / features
If no function is actuated on the implement, the implement may not place a hydraulic load on the tractor (the tractor engine revs may not be subdued). The permissible temperature for the tractor hydraulic system may not be exceeded; see the operator's manual for the tractor.
Important:
Quick-release coupling T (8041) must be connected up first and the connection must be secure. A blocked oil return line can damage the hydraulics of the implement.
