Attention!

Blocked wheels on the swather can lead to damage of the swather's running gear, because the running gear cannot be swivelled. –Release parking brake on the tractor and on the rotary swather. –Do not operate the foot brake. Do not lower the running gear when the swather is in the working position, as this could result in damage to the rotors. –Do not lower running gear if the swather is in the working position.

• Never actuate the foot brake and/or the parking brake while extending or retracting the running gear. • If necessary, secure the tractor with wheel chocks to prevent it from rolling. • Release parking brake on the tractor and on the rotary swather.

Raising/lowering the running gear

• Hold the key down until the required position is reached. –Raise/lower the running gear –Releasing the key and then pressing it again toggles the function between raising/lowering. (Fig.18,19)
