Hydrostaticground drive Hydraulicoil change

Before pouring new oil into the tank loosen the return line (R) and remove and disassemble the filter (F) for cleaning (Fig. 3). Disassemble the filter by removing the circlip (S). Then pull the filter element (1) from the support (2). Wash the element in Diesel fuel or gasoline and blow out with compressed air (Fig.4).
4
Renew the filter element if damaged. When reassembling ensure that the feit gaskets are in correct position. Renew the gasket between the filter support and oil tank. After the filter (F) has been fitted to the tank, fill the tank to the mark on the dipstick (M) with new hydraulic oil. Exercise extreme care to prevent dirt or other foreign material from entering the hydraulic system when filling the hydraulic tank. Capacity is approx. 5.5 litres (9.7 Imp. pt.). See Fig. 3

HYDROSTATIC GROUND DRIVE
Hydraulic oil change! Change the hydraulic oil once a year or every 500 working hours. Remove drain plug (A) and drain the old oil from the variable displacement pump and from the oil tank (B, Fig. 7). See Fig. 5.
The hydraulic oil is cleaned by the main oil filter (F) and a filter (5) in the sump while circulating. At the same time the oil is changed, the disposable-type main filter is to be changed too. And the same time, clean also the filter element of the filter in the sump. Unscrew the filter bowl, wash the screen in Diesel fuel, blow it weil out with compressed air and refit it. When refitting the filters make sure to place the gaskets properly in position, renew them if necessary (Fig.6).

7
Loosen connection (X) so that the air is removed while the new hydraulic oil is poured through the filler neck (E). The oil runs slowly from the tank to the hydropump by way of pipes (L). Wait until the oil issues from connection (X) then retighten connection (X) securely. Up till now approx. 8,5 litres (10.5 Imp. qt.) oil should have been poured into the system. Add another 2.5 Iitres (2.2 Imp. qt.). T0 fiII the system to the correct capacity indicated on the dipstick, a total of approx. 11 Iitres (12.7 Imp. qt.) are required (Fig. 7 and 8).
8
Replace the filler plug and allow the engine to run for approx. 30 seconds at slow idle speed. Then stop the engine and check the oil level. Fill if required to the level mark on the dipstick. 00 not operate the hydrostatic system on fuII load before these operations have been carried out.
Exercise extreme care to prevent dirt or other foreign material from entering the hydrauIic system when changing the oil.
