The drive interlock is a self-activated security system. 30 seconds after switching off ignition (“zero” position or ignition key removed), the drive interlock is automatically activated (locked), which is indicated by a flashing red light.

Scope of delivery:

• Drive interlock installed in the machine • Transponder key A (coded) • Master key (main key)

Important!

Store the master key in a safe place, separately from the transponder key •It is used to code (“train”) a new transponder key

Disabling (releasing the drive interlock)

☞Hold transponder key A about 2 cm over mark B ➥ The red telltale C goes out and the ➥ drive interlock is released for 30 seconds (disabled) ☞Switch on the ignition lock and start the engine ➥ –see Starting the engine on page3-16 ➥ The drive interlock is disabled as long as the engine runs

Enabling (locking the drive interlock)

☞Switch off the engine ☞Apply the parking brake –see Parking brake on page3-24 ☞Remove the ignition key! ➥ The drive interlock is enabled in 30 seconds ➥ The red telltale B flashes
