To isolate the pressurised make up tank, perform the following procedure: 1) Ensure the area is clear of any obstruction and area is fit for carrying out safe operation and maintenance. 2) Lower the lift arm to the ground, shutdown the engine and isolate the machine in accordance with the site isolation procedure. 3) Locate the make up tank filler cap located at the rear of the machine on the off driver’s side. 4) Remove the make up tank air pressure by slowly rotating the filler cap and hold un till the air pressure is released. 5) Slowly remove filler cap
WARNING The make up tank is pressurised via the pneumatic system to provide a positive head feed to the exhaust conditioner. Always relieve pressure first by slowly rotating the filler cap before removal. Wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses.
