AUTOMATIC LUBRICATION FOR WIRE ROPE An alarm will sound when:

1. Supply of lubricant is exhausted. 2. Injector or grease line becomes blocked. 3. Main line breakage. 4. Electric or pneumatic failure except due to loss of electrical power to system alarm.

Energizing air solenoid valve starts cycle, de-energizing this solenoid ends the cycle. Air pressure to operate the pump is set at

80 ps i.

USE CLEAN LUBRICANT - KEEP IT CLEAN

This is optional equipment. A separate system is provided to lubricate hoist and drag wire ropes. Drip type lubricators are mounted over the boom point sheave, the hoist deflecting sheave and the top fairlead sheave. The system is adjustable and originally set to apply lubricant at seven (7) counts per cycle, with a fifteen minute time intervals, between cycles. If the system does not complete a cycle in 90 seconds an alarm will sound and a red light will indicate a lubrication system failure.

AUTOMATIC LUBRICATION FOR PROPEL BEARINGS AND ROLLER CIRCLE Energizing air solenoid valve starts the pump. Air pressure to operate the pump is set at 60 psi. This system normally operates only duringdigging cycle.

This system is optional on all machines. It provides clean lubricant to all inboard and outboard main propel bearings, stabilizer link bearings, ball joints and shoes in addition to supplying lubricant to the center journal sleeve. It also, supplies lubricant to the roller circle system by means of a quick disconnect coupling and a manually operated push button control.
