Inspection and servicing

Charging the batteries

The batteries are charged by the battery charger ( Fig. 3-24:) only if the electrical system with the circuit breaker is switched on.

Switchgear cabinet

Breather filter

In the switchgear cabinet and in the pedestal the air is drawn in and cleaned by a ventilator with filter each. Filter (Fig. 3-26:) ist located behind the switchgear cabinet. Filter (Fig. 3-27:) ist located in the pedestal.

The battery main switch (Fig. 3-25:) must be in position I "ON".

Emptying dust trap

Press dust trap (14, Fig. 3-28:) and hold until the dust trap is empty.

Emptying the dust collector

Loosen clips (11, Fig. 3-28:).

Remove dust collector (12) and empty.

Filter element

Remove dust collector (12, Fig. 3-28:).

Withdraw filter element (13, Fig. 3-29:).

Replace or clean filter element (13).

Refit dust collector (12, Fig. 3-28:).
