Operation

Emergency - stop

The EMERGENCY STOP switches must be used only in emergencies. With the EMERGENCY STOP button, the entire electrical system is interrupted in all poles by the on-board circuit breaker. Even after actuation of the EMERGENCY STOP button, medium voltage (6.3 KV) is present (primarily) from the transformer station via drag cable and slip ring assembly to the circuit breaker.

When the fault has been located and rectified, the buttons must be unlocked.

Switch on circuit breaker (cf. "Switching on the circuit breaker").

Press in EMERGENCY OFF button (31, Fig. 2-48: and / or 3, Fig. 2-49:).

Press in EMERGENCY OFF button (6, Fig. 2-50:), resp. pull rope (5).

Press in EMERGENCY OFF button (4, Fig. 2-51:).

When the buttons are pressed resp. pulled out they engages automatically in OFF position.
