CD01N025 2. When the engine has been stopped for fifteen minutes, remove the dipstick (1), wipe it with a clean cloth and replace it in the guide tube as far as it will go. Then take it out again.

CS98M579 3. If the oil level is below the mark (A) (minimum), remove the oil filler cap (2), add oil up to the mark (B) (maximum) on the dipstick (1) and then replace the oil filler cap. NOTE: The level should not be higher than the mark (B) (maximum) on the dipstick (1).

NOTE: Change the oil while the engine is still warm. The oil will flow more easily. 1. Park the machine on flat, horizontal ground, stop the engine and remove the starter switch key. 2. Remove the oil filler cap (2).

CD01N029 3. Place a receptacle of a suitable capacity under the engine sump drain plug (3), remove the plug and allow the oil to flow out.

4. Remove the plug (4) from the main filter (5) then open the drain valve (6) and let the oil flow out, then cose the valve. 5. Clean the area around the oil filter (5) and remove it, using a hexagonal wrench.

PH08325 6. Coat the seal of the new filter with a fine film of oil. 7. Install the new filter. Turn the filter until the seal comes into contact with the filter head and turn an extra half turn by hand. 8. Install a new seal on the plugs (3), (4) and install the plugs. IMPORTANT: Do not use a filter wrench to tighten the filter. Excessive tightening can damage the filter and their seals. 9. Clean the area around the oil filters (7) and remove them, using a filter wrench. 10.Coat the seal of the new filter with a fine film of oil. 11.Install the new filter. Make sure that the seals are in contact with the head of the filters, then tighten them an extra halfturn by hand. 12.Fill the engine with new engine oil (33 litres). Install the oil filler cap (2). 13.Run the engine for a few minutes and check that there are no leaks. Check the oil level again and add more oil if necessary. IMPORTANT: Always wait fifteen minutes to allow the oil to return to the sump before checking the oil level.
