PnP/PCI Configuration

The following table describes the parameters found in this menu. Settings in boldface are the default and suggested settings.

NOTE: It is strongly recommended that only experienced users should make any changes to the default settings.

Description Reset Configuration Data Selecting “Enabled” to reset Extended System Configuration Data (ESCD) only if you installed a new add-on and the system reconfiguration has caused such a serious conflict that the operating system can not boot. Otherwise, you should leave it unchanged. Resources Controlled By This BIOS can automatically configure all of the boot and Plug and Play compatible devices.
