PnP/PCI Configuration
The following table describes the parameters found in this menu. Settings in boldface are the default and suggested settings.
NOTE: It is strongly recommended that only experienced users should make any changes to the default settings.

Description Reset Configuration Data Selecting “Enabled” to reset Extended System Configuration Data (ESCD) only if you installed a new add-on and the system reconfiguration has caused such a serious conflict that the operating system can not boot. Otherwise, you should leave it unchanged. Resources Controlled By This BIOS can automatically configure all of the boot and Plug and Play compatible devices. You can also set it as Manual and go into each of the sub menu to choose specific resources. IRQ Resources The items are adjustable only when “Resources Controlled By” is set to Manual. By pressing “Enter” to access the sub menu. PCI/VGA Palette Snoop Disabled - Data read or written by the CPU is only directed to the PCI VGA device’s palette registers. Enabled - Data read or written by the CPU is directed to both the PCI VGA device’s palette registers and the ISA VGA device’s palette registers, permitting the palette registers of both VGA devices to be identical.
