Removing the Hard Disk Drive Module

1. Remove the Battery Pack. See “Removing the Battery Pack” on page 48. 2. Remove the HDD1 cover. See “Removing the Lower Covers” on page 50. 3. Remove the two securing screws.

4. Use the pull-tab to lift up the HDD module to remove.

NOTE: To prevent damage to device, avoid pressing down on it or placing heavy objects on top of it.

6. Turn the HDD module upside down, and lift the HDD carrier up.

7. Remove the connector from the HDD.
