3.2 Emergency stop operation
Use the emergency stop switch. When the emergency stop switch is pressed, the engine stops and all of the functions are disabled. Press the emergency stop switch in the following cases;
(1) When shutting down the engine. (2) When a person on the ground judges that the operation from the platform is unsafe. (3) When the machine is uncontrollable due to malfunctions.

Advice: To resume operation, pull the emergency stop switch.
Caution: If the boom descends gradually after the emergency stop switch is pressed, this may be a natural descent of the hydraulic cylinder. In this case, restart the engine with the engine key switch and operate the boom to prevent the boom and the platform from coming into contact with any obstacles. Then, lower the platform to the ground and stop using the machine.
If the emergency stop operation was used as a result of malfunctions, stop using the machine immediately and contact Aichi service shop for inspections.
