Keeping Hollywood in Borehamwood as town’s cinema saved

As Hertsmere News went to press we were announcing a decisive move to secure the immediate future of REEL Cinema at Borehamwood’s The Point which had been threatened with closure.

Working with Elstree and Borehamwood Town Council and REEL Cinema, we’ve developed a solution that will keep the cinema open and save jobs which had been at risk of redundancy.

Plans are already being worked up to improve the offering at The Point, a site which we own and lease out long-term to a property fund. In addition, we will work with REEL Cinema to seek to establish an improved cinema offer for the town for the future.
