Leave an HONOURABLE LEGACY Emem Washington

We got to catch up with Emem Washington, a multi-passionate creative entrepreneur who is utilizing her experience as an attorney, speaker, singer/songwriter, coach and mentor to serve emerging thought-leaders and world-changers. It’s amazing that someone can utilize most skills and potential to serve humanity.

the miscarriages/still births and believing that I would become a mother, the book was “Supernatural Childbirth”. For dealing with the grief of losing my mom, that book was “The Shack” and “Heaven is Real” this shows how pain is turned to purpose and inspires others to stay the course.

Emem was born in Los Angeles, California she had a wonderful childhood, with very loving but strict parents, especially her father. Her dad is a driven man, particularly where education is concerned. He pushed education like it was going out of style, we did not like it very much then but we appreciate it so much now.

Emem is diversely gifted and what she loves most is speaking life into people, pouring into them and seeing them rise up to their full potential. Basically, I enjoy doing anything that allows me to be a solution provider, without compromising who I am and what I stand for. Being a solution provider is a great gap to fill as you already have a demand and is fulfilling.

“What drives me in everything I do and in life is to have an impact and leave a honourable legacy”. Emem usually shares about her life experiences when she motivates the audience in her speaking engagements and one story in particular that touches others is her challenge with miscarriages and still birth, how she turns this to something that inspires others is remarkable. She says “What got me through the difficult times of miscarriages and still births and even the loss of my beloved mother is my faith in God and having a good supportive circle. When asked what advice she would give to her younger self and upcoming driven generation she said “Don’t try to fit in with the crowd”. You are unique and special and it’s ok to be a misfit”, this are definitely words wisdom in a world that is keen in producing prototypes Emems principles she lives by are to serve God and mankind, she is currently working on a new mini self-help 7-day course to accompany her Rebirth album.
