Fish on menu for March 4 Albert Kypfer meeting CLEAR SPRINGS – Albert Kypfer Lodge No. 106 will meet March 4. Fish is on the menu with members asked to bring a side dish or dessert. If you know a member who does not drive anymore, offer them a ride to the meet-
ing or bring a guest who may be interested in joining Hermann Sons. Members gathered Feb. 5 for fellowship and a meeting. After the meal, President Tim Salge called the meeting to order.
Grand President Buddy Preuss was in attendance. He presented a 50-year membership pin to Dwayne Koepp. Brother Koepp lives in New Braunfels and has been a member since June 14, 1966.
Nelrose Koepp reported that she called Lillian Soechting to see how she was doing after her hospital stay. Receiving cards were Josh Salge and Jeanette Constance who fell and broke her wrist. Let Sister
Koepp know if there is anyone sick or who has passed away. Winners of attendance prizes were Joyce Koepp, Jim Sureddin, Barbara Pizil, John Turner and Cheryl Koepp. – Darline Preiss

Brunhilde holds January meeting

Hondo Victory makes donation
Old Glory to meet March 6
HONDO – Hondo Victory Lodge No. 161 met Jan. 12. Thank-you notes were read from HANK (Helping Abused and Neglected Kids) Inc. Instead of holding a Christmas gift exchange, the lodge sent HANK a donation. OLD GLORY – Old Glory Lodge No. 228 will meet Sunday, March 6, at 4 p.m. Hamburgers and all the trimmings will be furnished and the ladies are asked to bring desserts. President Doug Vahlenkamp announced the lodge’s new member goal for 2016 is four. A moment of silence was observed in memory of three members who recently passed, Margie Lackey, Wanda Ward and Dwaine Nauert.

President Vahlenkamp reminded everyone of the Valentine’s Day dance on Saturday, Feb. 13. Due to the recent high winds, some of the lodge hall roof will need to be repaired. Pat Pyron is on the sick list and is in the hospital recovering from surgery. Terry Letz won the door prize. Following the meeting, everyone enjoyed a potluck meal and desserts. – Reporter
