Brenham expects visit from Santa at Dec. 4 party BRENHAM – Brenham Lodge will hold its Christmas party on Saturday, Dec. 4, starting at 4 p.m. A catered meal will be served and Santa is scheduled to attend. Music will be provided by Allison Crowson and band. The Nov. 12 meeting included a meal of fried turkey prepared by lodge President James Hyvl. Traditional dressing was prepared by Jeanette Preuss and Judy Baichtal with many sides and desserts provided by members. Prior to the meeting the veterans in attendance were recognized along with members celebrating a November birthday.

The 2022 officers will include James Hyvl, president; Gary Falkenberg, vice president and communications coordinator; Lena Mae Goessler, secretary/ treasurer; and Karl Goessler who will serve another three years as financial trustee. Delores Gaskamp and Doris Falkenberg will serve as the lodge’s delegates to the Convention Assembly in May 2022. The first meeting of the new year will be held Friday, Jan. 14. The meal will be chili with sides. Members are asked to bring desserts. – Reporter

Poth Lodge recognizes campership recipients POTH – Poth Lodge honored the recipients of its camperships at the Nov. 7 meeting. Damarcus and Jadyn Scott talked about their Camp experiences and said they were eager to go again next year. Welcomed as new members were Stella Marie Pacini and Kaitlyn Nayeli-Ann Cortez. Victor Walzel was welcomed by way of transfer. James and Henrietta Lowak presented the lodge with a United States flag and portable flagpole. A moment of silence was ob-

served in memory of Rosalie Kasper. Members agreed to present McDonald’s gift cards to the dance students, their teacher and parent liaison. The door prize winners were Pat Lowak and Victor Walzel. Three names were drawn to win the kitty but Cole D. Reed, Dennis L. Arnold and Madeline J. Boening were not in attendance. The amount will be increased by $2 for the next drawing. Pizza and salad were served. – Reporter

SAN ANTONIO – Louise Schuetze Lodge will celebrate Christmas on Dec. 13 in the lodge hall. Everyone is asked to bring their favorite finger food or dessert. Members also are asked to bring a wrapped gift valued at $10-$15 for the gift exchange. Members enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner when they met Nov. 8 in the Rathskeller. The 2021 officers will serve again in 2022. Carol Grill won the attendance prize. – Reporter
