Dear Citizens, Every year, the City of Jacksonville’s Senior Services Division works collaboratively with a multitude of community partners to create a comprehensive guide that informs and engages Jacksonville’s seniors. The 2022-2023 Jacksonville Senior Services Directory is an informative publication consisting of valuable information about a wide range of services, activities and resources available to our active and beloved senior community. With over 840 square miles, there is something for everyone to experience in Jacksonville. The First Coast region is home to over 400 parks and public spaces, miles of pristine coastline, our treasured St. Johns River, and so much more. The Jacksonville community has a plethora of diverse cultural and entertainment experiences to explore, from museums to sports venues to concert halls. Jacksonville is also home to a vibrant and thriving business community, industryleading healthcare facilities, and the third largest military presence in the United States. Jacksonville has experienced significant growth over the last several years and as a senior resident, your past, present and future contributions play an important role in that progress and success.
