As many know my family was part of the J.D. Hudgins operation prior to us starting Heritage Cattle Company. Although we like to mix our pedigrees up now and use the top genetics from breeders all across the United States we stepped back and produced a straight J.D. Hudgins pedigree with lots 29 & 30. We have long been fans of the National & International Champion and Vanguard Sire (+)JDH Woodson De Manso. We used a son of his that was imported in from Mexico that has been a proven producer siring winners for Haley Herzog, Dalton Deckert and a number of other successful breeders. To compliment this mating we were able to purchase a cow that combined some of my family’s foundation genetics to include the Vanguard Sire (+)JDH Marri Manso and JDH Maxo Ritz Manso. The calves of this mating are super cool and will show well but have the strong maternal influence to be an elite breeding piece for any progressive operation. Bulls are not sold with a semen collection or freezing guarantee. We make no further guarantees, including the ability of any animal to compete in livestock shows, disposition, and length of life or production. If a female does not prove to be a natural breeder by two years of age, Heritage Cattle reserves the right to try for a six-month period to breed the heifer.
