Sponsorship Opportunities Sponsoring a Henry County Chamber of Commerce (HCCC) event is a great marketing opportunity for your company, giving you access to business owners and decision makers in the Henry County market. Business Boosters Luncheon Sponsorship There are several benefits, products and services offered to the members of the Henry County Chamber of Commerce (HCCC) that bring added value to membership. One of which is the monthly Business Booster Luncheons held on the 3rd Thursday of every month. HCCC’s Business Booster Luncheons (BBL) are presented by HCCC’s Small Business Council and are intended to provide information to the chambers small business owners in an affordable way. For this reason, each Business Booster has an Educational Goal which includes giving small business owners quality and informative education that will allow small business to grow or help to elevate start up business. These luncheons generally take place between 11:00am- 1:00pm and feature a Chamber member or Guest Speaker who has expertise in a particular area who then shares that knowledge with other members. The message at the luncheons is not a sales pitch from the speaker but an opportunity for members to help one another grow their businesses and organizations. Typical luncheon topics include: Networking, Economic Forecast, Transportation and more. Regardless of the size of the small business, owners will be able to gather valuable information that can be implemented immediately to impact short-term and long-term business practices. Each Business Booster includes lunch for a nominal fee. There is a charge of $12(early registration) or $15 (at the door) for Chamber members to participate in the luncheons and they receive priority seating. Non-members are welcome to attend for a charge of $20(early registration) or $23 (at the door). Lunch is catered. WHO IS INVITED? Representatives of area businesses belonging to the Chamber, their employees and guests may be invited. Also a small list of area officials, potential members and area resource people might be included.

HOW DO PEOPLE LEARN OF THE EVENT? The Chamber will share this event via the weekly e-newsletter, a listing on the Chamber’s website in the events calendar, a listing in the Chamber Print newsletter, email blast notifications of the event to chamber members, several postings on the Chamber Facebook page and Twitter (@Henry_Chamber), as well as mentions at previous Chamber events and of course word of mouth!

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE EVENT? • • • • • •

A Chamber representative will arrive early to assist as necessary to set up an area for name tags and door prize registration. Participants will be asked to wear nametags – which the Chamber will provide. Participants will place their business card into a basket for the door prize drawing. You will be allowed to keep the business cards for your reference following the BBL. During the event, the Sponsors, Chamber Board Members and Special Guests will be introduced to the attendees. You will be introduced and have the opportunity to say a few words about your business. (2-3 minutes) A Chamber representative will make brief announcements regarding any upcoming Chamber events and activities.

WHAT DOES THE SPONSOR PROVIDE FOR THE EVENT? • • • •

Marketing and Promotional Materials. (may include company’s signage) Door prizes related to the sponsoring business (optional) Promotional information, marketing materials and/or display. Provide the Chamber a paragraph about your business at least one month in advance of the date you are hosting.

WHAT DOES THE CHAMBER PROVIDE FOR THE EVENT? • • •

The Location- The event will be held in our Hudgins Room located at the Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber will plan and execute the entire event and its program. Including selecting and booking the caterer. Publicity for the event. The Chamber will announce the Business Boosters Luncheon in the HCCC newsletter, circulate it to local media contacts, and promote the event in email blasts to chamber members, as well as have mentions at the previous Business Boosters Luncheon. The HCCC will include your logo in information distributed giving you optimal advertising and awareness of your business. The Chamber will list the event on the Chamber Facebook page, email blasts to chamber members and other area businesses, and include the event on the Chamber website events calendar. Name tags for attendees, door prize card blanks (for those without business cards), and basket for door prize tickets/business cards. A table or desk, preferably near the entrance, for registration of our members and guests. We will also provide a table for sponsor to use this surface to set up any displays or promotional items.

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE IN ADVANCE? •

Provide the Chamber a paragraph about your business at least one month in advance of the date you are hosting. We do the Rest!

What is a Business After Hours? A Business After Hours (BAH) is a business/social gathering of Chamber members and their guests at your business or chosen location. As a business after hours sponsor, the BAH provides you with the opportunity to showcase the products and services of your business, and offers area business people a chance to get to gather informally, see old friends, make new business contacts, and find out what our area businesses have to offer. The BAH generally takes place at the end of the business day, +--from 5:30pm – 7:00 pm. It is usually held monthly on the fourth Thursday in the evening. All Sponsoring parties must be current members of the Henry County Chamber of Commerce. WHO IS INVITED? Representatives of area businesses belonging to the Chamber, their employees and guests may be invited. As our host, we will ask you, or one of your employees to greet guests as they come in. A Chamber staff member or representative will assist with this. Participants will be Business After Hours Sponsored by Pro Studios asked to wear nametags – which the Chamber will provide. Participants will place their business card into a basket for the door prize drawing. You will be allowed to keep the business cards for your reference following the BAH. Chamber Members names will be pulled for a Jackpot drawing (when applicable) During the evening, the Sponsors, Chamber Board Members and Special Guests will be introduced to the attendees. You will be introduced and have the opportunity to say a few words about your business. Sponsor has the opportunity to provide giveaways at the door or on the tables A Chamber representative will make brief announcements regarding any upcoming Chamber events and activities.

WHAT DOES THE SPONSOR PROVIDE FOR THE EVENT? • • • • • •

The location - If you would like your event to stand out, consider a theme to create a festive and appealing event. Hors D’oeuvres & beverages (can be alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic – it’s up to you) Door prizes related to the sponsoring business. (Optional) Promotional information, displays, or tours of the business. Guest speakers can also be a part of the program. Provide the Chamber a paragraph about your business at least one month in advance of the date you are hosting. A table or desk, preferably near the entrance, for registration of our members and guests. We will also use this surface to set up any raffles and to display member literature and upcoming events.

Publicity for the event. The Chamber will provide the sponsor with a listing of all current chamber members for the sponsor to mail invites. The HCCC will include your logo in information distributed giving you optimal advertising and awareness of your business. The Chamber will list the event on the Chamber Facebook page, email blasts to chamber members and other area businesses, and include the event on the Chamber website events calendar. Staff support and guidance. The Chamber staff will work with you to ensure that all necessary steps are taken for you to host a fun and successful Business After Hours!

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE IN ADVANCE? • •

Work with the Chamber to promote your event. You may do your own publicity as well, please be sure to indicate that it is a Henry County Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours.

Member Marketing Opportunities The Henry County Chamber of Commerce provides a number of marketing opportunities for members. Business Cards – Showcase your business cards or brochures at our office. Business Directory –Your business is listed on the website’s business directory. The directory acts as a one-stop shop for locals seeking info on local business. If you haven’t already please email your logo ‘jpg’ format + 150 word description of your business. Member-2-Member Loyalty Program – The program provides value to members by: • Offering a point of sale bonus or discount to members making purchases at participating businesses. • Building consumer loyalty. • Fostering connections between members sharing business with each other. Website Ad Space – Advertise on the website at a reasonable cost. Your ad will be placed on the website; placing will be based on availability. Contact us for pricing. Submit an Event – A new feature on the website allows members to create their own event and add it to the Calendar of Events for members and the public to access. Business After Hours – The Business After Hours is a monthly networking event (fourth Thursday from 5:30pm-7:00pm) sponsored by a member to showcase their business by having members and their guests visit their physical location. Each month, except November and December, members get the opportunity to visit different member businesses and network while enjoying beverages and light hor d’hoeuvres also supplied by members. Business Boosters Luncheon - is a monthly Luncheon held on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 11:00am-1:00pm, except July and December. It features a Chamber member or Guest Speaker who has expertise in a particular area who then shares that knowledge with other members. Sponsorships are available and your company will receive prime positioning on the Luncheons promotions throughout the month, premier exposure at the event itself, and extended recognition after the event concludes. CANCELLATION POLICY If you must cancel your sponsorship, all requests must be received in writing and no later than 6 months before date of event. All fees paid will be refunded minus a $50.00 processing fee. Cancellation of this contract within six months of the event date will result in the forfeiture of the sponsorship fee. The opportunity to sponsor a Business After Hours/Business Boosters Luncheon is contingent upon Chamber membership. If Chamber membership is dropped for any reason before the event, this contract becomes null and void and will result in the forfeiture of the sponsorship fee.
